"Sammy!" I say looking out of the hotel window. "It's gorgeous! Let's go to the beach!"
"Okay, okay," he laughs. We put on our swimsuits and head down to the beach. It was so warm, with a nice breeze. We laid out our towels.
"C'mon," I said pulling him. We ran into the water. It was nice and cool, I missed this. It's been so long. We splashed around for a while before sitting back down. "Thank you for bringing me," I said happily. "It's beautiful."
"It's no problem," he says. "I hope Jack's not too mad." He pulls out his phone. "Um, he's pretty mad."
"Huh?" he showed me his phone. There was a bunch of calls and texts from Jack. "Can I uh- call him?"
"Are you sure you wanna do that?" he asks and I nod. He hands me his phone and I call Jack.
((BOLD IS THE PHONE CALL))
Jack: Sam what the fuck!
Jack?
Jack: .....
The line went silent.
Jack?
After a few minutes of silence, I hung up and handed the phone to Sam. "I don't think he wanted to talk to me," I say.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault," Sam says. "But we'll be on our way to L.A. in a few days, he'll be fine!"
"I hope so, I don't want us to end. I really like him," I sigh.
What did I tell you? Promises are meant to be broken, and you broke your promise to Jack. You said you wouldn't leave, and you did.
You're right...
When have I been wrong? Listen to me, damn it.
I don't think I should.
"Hey Sammy," I said before my thoughts could argue with me. "Let's go on a walk around the shops, and if you don't mind, could we get some fruit?" I smiled cheekily.
"Yeah," he laughed. We threw our towels over our shoulders and walked to the hotel.
"Can you toss me my shorts and some underwear?" I asked Sammy.
"Oh, I get to look at your underwear?" he smirked and laughed.
"You even get to pick em out," I nodded and laughed. I turned away from Sammy and put on a bando, after putting that on I threw on a lacy tank top. Sam tossed me black lace underwear and white shorts. "White shorts won't work with black underwear."
"Black ones?" he asks and I nod. I quickly changed, as did Sam. We put on shoes and left our room.
We walked down the long streets filled with people and shops. We passed a phone shop, Sam wanted me to get one but I didn't want him to spend that much money.
We passed an accessory shop, I, of course, wanted to go inside. We walked in and saw tons of beaded and braided jewelry. "Ooh, Sammy look," I grabbed two bracelets that came together, you could get stuff carved into them. "We could get our names carved into these, or like S & A or A & S." He smiled and grabbed them. "Just something to remember, were traveling buddies." That made him smile again.
We continued to walk around. Sammy bought the bracelets, and he bought me a few cool bracelets and we got some bandanas. We walked through some more shops and looked at some stuff.
"Aw, this is cute," I say as we stop by a little fruit market.
"Ooh," Sam says. "Let's get a pineapple and some blueberries," he looks at me. "Want anything?"
"Coconuts," I said smiling, thinking about the time Jack and I had shared the milk from a coconut.
"Ight," he payed for the fruits and put them in a bag. We continued walking and I felt his arm come around me. We stopped walking and looked at each other. He bent down a little bit and tried to kiss me. I almost let him, but then I pulled away.
"I-"
Promises are meant to be broken, Alexis, do it. He'll hurt you, too.
"I'm sorry," I turned around and walked through the crowded streets alone.

I suck at ending chapters, I'm sorry. I really wanted more views before publishing more, but stories always get more views when they're complete so I'll be publishing more.
