Jack ended up going to get me a Plan B birth control thing from a pharmacy. He's been gone for a while now, longer than it should've taken. I sat on the counter with my legs crossed and a bowl of grapes in my lap. I picked some and popped them into my mouth.

I heard the door open and shut and saw Jack come around the corner. He had a bag in his hand and he was sliding something into his back pocket. He handed me the bag with the essentials.

"I don't know how any of that works," he shrugged. I shrugged too and opened it up.

After I'd done all that, I saw Jack staring at me. "What?" I ask.

"You know what tomorrow is, right?" he asks.

"Umm..SIX MONTHS!" I giggle. He picks me up and twirls me around.

"Yep, now, I'm giving you these, and I trust you," he hands me his keys. "And I'm also giving you this," he hands me a wad of cash. "Buy yourself something pretty, because tomorrow we're going out for dinner. I have a big surprise." My eyes were wide at the thought of a surprise, and the wad of cash that was the size of my fist.

"You didn't have to give me all this," I say.

"No, no. Use as much as you want, or all of it. Buy a pretty dress, shoes, get your hair and nails done, treat yourself, baby," he smiles and pecks my lips.

Shopping was a success. I got a pretty black lacy dress, some black heels, I got my nails done and my hair too.

Once I arrived home, there was a note on the counter.

Alexis, go into the garage

I walked to the garage and peered inside. There was a car with a bow on top, and the car was beautiful! The keys were placed on the hood with another note.

Drive to the beach with the 'coconut tree'.

I was so happy. Why would Jack do all this for me? He was so damn sweet to me. I didn't deserve that. Any of it.

Once I arrived at the beach, I saw Jack seated at a cute little table in a gazebo that I never really noticed. There were flowers and food, and of course, Jack. He was dressed in a tux. I smiled at him, and took my heels off to walk through the sand. He smiled back and stood up to greet me.

"Do you like the car?" he asks.

"I love it," I hug him. "Thank you." He smiles and offers me a seat. I sit down and he sits across from me.

"I got your favorite fruits," he says showing me. "And I got some other foods," he opened a basket and I saw all of the lovely food he'd gotten.

"You didn't have to do all of this," I smile as I pop a blueberry into my mouth.

"That's the thing, I wanted to," he flashes his perfect white teeth at me. "But this isn't all," he said. "I've got one more huge surprise!"

"Oh, Jack. You've done so much already," I say happily and guiltily. I hadn't done anything for him.

"Here," he hands me a picture of a cute beach house and two airplane tickets. "I got us a house in Hawaii, and I want you to move there with me," he smiles.

"Jack!" I exclaimed.

"I know how much you love it there, I thought you'd want to," he smiles.

"Of course, but I didn't get you anything. I feel so bad, you've done so much already."

"Alexis, you're my girl, and that's enough for me. You let me treat you nicely, and that's good enough too." He smiles and his eyes tear up, "it's an honor to be able to call you mine."

My eyes fill with water and I get up to sit in his lap and hug him. "Jack," I sob happily. "You're too good for me."

"You're too good for me," he says back.

After things had calmed down and I was back in my own seat, Jack started telling me everything.

"So, we get the house, it's ours. It's a little expensive, but the seller is going to buy us all the plumbing, like sinks, toilets, all that."

"What about the rest?" I ask.

"Well, I found a good job at a surf shop down there, and my parents are gonna help out," he smiles.

"Wow," I let out a sigh of relief. "This is exhilarating. I'm so excited!"

"Me too," he grabs my hand from across the table and smiles.

"And he's just gonna buy us all the plumbing?" I ask and he nods. "No strings attached?"

"No strings attached, babe. For real this time."

IM SORRY THIS WAS A SUCKY CHAPTER, I didn't know how to end the story. I just wanted it to be over already.
