TIME SKIP ; TWO WEEKS LATER

3:10PM

i just finished school and i'm on my way to work. i was thinking about how seventeen will be coming to australia for their tour and when i'll finally meet jihoon in person which is kinda nerve-wracking and i was starting to overthink about it. jihoon and i have been texting on and off but lately we've just been too busy with our lives. 

"this might be a distraction, i should just stop thinking about it" i said to myself while i'm sitting at the red stop light 

i made it in time for work and i was at the cashier for the rest of the day but it wasn't that busy. 

7PM

it was starting to get a bit quiet in the store so i was cleaning the display stands re-arranging the kpop best sellers this week then suddenly i heard a crowd of people screaming and running. there were photography flashlights going off and people saying to move out of the way. 

"what's going on outside?" i asked my manager 

"i'm not sure, i'll go check" she said and walked out of the store 

"seventeen oppas!! please look here!!" i heard girls yelled out

"seventeen?! as in SEVENTEEN?!" i said and looked back at my coworkers and they had a shocked look in their faces 

"GUYS! SEVENTEEN IS HERE!" my manager shouted excitedly while running back to the store

"what?! there's no way!!" i said in disbelief 

"it looks like the performance unit is coming this way!" one of my coworkers said while panicking 

"okay guys, please don't fangirl/fanboy once they enter our store. stay professional" my manager said in a serious tone

"we'll try our best" we all said and took a deep breath in and out 

the performance unit and their bodyguards entered our store. at first, they greeted and bowed at us then walked around the store to browse around. they saw the kpop albums displayed on the shelves, i moved back to the register to give them space and avoided giving them eye-contact. 

"hyung, look! our albums are here" minghao said while pointing at them

"hi, did you need help with anything today?" i asked while smiling and trying my best not to cry or scream (bWAHAHA KMS)

"hello, yes we're fine thank you" chan said while smiling

"okay, no worries. if you need help with anything feel free to ask me, i'll just be here" i said and smiled 

"kamsahabnida" they all said while bowing at me then smiled  

"let's look for face masks" jun said 

"okay" they all agreed and split up to find their face masks and browsed around 

my coworkers were putting new items in-stock at the stationary area and they were trying their best to not stare at the performance unit the entire time, we kept side-eyeing each other from time to time. 

after 5 minutes, the boys ended up finding their face masks. when they were walking towards me at the counter, they all noticed a seventeen poster up on the wall and they started looking at it. 

"yah, look at wonwoo. he looks funny" soonyoung said while pointing at the poster  

they all laughed at talked about how funny some members looked like (rUDEEE where's the respect??!!)

finally they all walked up to me at the counter, chan placed the face masks on the table while smiling.

"we'll buy these please" minghao said

"sure, is that all for today?" i asked calmly

"yes that's all, thank you" jun said and smiled

i nodded and scanned the face mask packs. 

"that'll be $25" i said

"they can pay $10" my manager said

"really?!" they were all surprised

"of course, since they're idols" my manager said and smiled

"can they dance for us instead of paying?" one of my coworkers asked and begged

"yes, we can dance for you all" soonyoung said excitedly

"what song should we dance to?" chan asked

"jam jam?" jun suggested

"is that okay?" soonyoung asked

"yes!" we all said

they boys danced to jam jam and i filmed it on my phone but it was only until after the first chorus. we all cheered and clapped for them after they finished dancing. we complimented them and i proceeded to complete their transaction. i placed the face masks in a small bag then handed it to soonyoung while shyly looking into his eyes.

"kamsahabnida!" they said and bowed

"kamsahabnida!" we all said back and watched them leave the store

the other members and i were waiting for performance team to hurry up and leave the store, when they returned i heard soonyoung mentioning about not having to pay for their items which was shocking to me. 

"yah, soonyoung"

"what's up?

"why didn't you pay?"

"they asked us to dance for them so we can get our face masks for free" he said while he was about to show me what's inside the bag but i stopped him

"aish...stay here, i'll go back and pay them" i said and entered the store

my coworkers and i were freaking out together and was trying to process what just happened. suddenly i heard the doors open so i rushed back to the cashier, ready to greet customers when they enter. this guy walked inside the store and he had his hoodie on and was wearing a face mask so it was hard to see his face. 

"hello" he said and bowed but didn't look directly at me 

"hello" i said and bowed back

"is there anything i can help you with today?" i asked 

"here's the money we owe you, sorry-" he stopped and slowly looked up at me

"what do you mean?" i asked confusedly  

the guy put his hoodie down and took off his mask, i looked at him in shock and instantly recognised him. it was jihoon!!

"y/n?" jihoon said unsurely...
