TIME SKIP ; FRIDAY

today has finally come, seventeen's comeback is tonight and i've been trying to prepare myself mentally, emotionally and physically. i'm really looking forward to their new mini album, i've been dying to hear their new music and i couldn't contain my excitement all day. 

3:30PM

i finished school not too long ago and just got home. i unpacked my bag, got changed into comfortable clothes and ate a light snack. i had time to spare so i decided to cleaned the house so my parents wouldn't have to worry about it when they come home from work.

5:30PM

as soon as i finished cleaning around the house, my parents arrived at home and i helped them cook dinner.  

7:30PM

after eating dinner and cleaning up, i walked to my bedroom and saw a text message from jihoon. 

jihoon oppa ♡ : jagiyaaaa, we're going on vlive very soon to countdown for our comeback~

me: okie oppaaaa, gomawo~ 

a few minutes later, seventeen went on vlive and i watched it. they were chatting about how excited they were for their new comeback. they showed all the versions of their albums then did a countdown. the music video released and the vlive ended. i saw the 'don't wanna cry' music video thumbnail on youtube, i quickly clicked on it and watched it. 

the music video was very aesthetic and cinematic, i was very impressed with the production. the song was very sad but catchy at the same time. the choreography looked complex but mesmerising, their hard work always paid off. i was extremely proud of seventeen, the view count was increasing every second. 

after i've finished watching the music video, i started listening to their mini album. i listened to habit  first and it was very sad post-break up song. as i was listening carefully to the song and lyrics, i started feeling uneasy and worried. the first verse of the song instantly caught my attention.

i hoped that the lyrics didn't somehow relate/reflects to me when i met up with ian that one time. i still really liked this song because the vocals were very powerful and i felt their emotions through the song and lyrics. i tried not to jump to conclusions to assume that jihoon wrote those lyrics based on that meet up i had with ian, so i planned on asking him. i listened to the rest of the album and recognised crazy in love  from the little teaser jihoon played for me in our call a few weeks ago.

after the vlive ended, we watched our music video release and were satisfied with how it turned out. we were all celebrating and i wondered what y/n's thoughts about the music video and our mini album, then i texted her. 

me: so what did you think???

y/n my jagiya ♡ : oppa, can we call?

me: yes of course!!

i quickly walked into another room where it was quiet then i called y/n and waited for her to answer.

"oppa~" she said and waved

"jaygiya~"i said and waved back

"congratulations to you and the boys for your comeback!! i'm very proud of you all"

"gomawo, i'll let them know you said that" i said and smiled 

y/n told me her thoughts about the music video, i was happy to hear her admire and compliment us all. 

"did you listen to the album already?"

"yes i did~ by the way, when did you start writing habit ?"

"i started writing it when we were having a difficult time trying to keep in touch with each other once we got back in seoul because we've been busy and kind of distant. at first, it wasn't supposed to be a post-break up song but after having discussions with bumzu and the vocal team, we had to changed the lyrics"

"ooh okay, i see"

"did you think that the song was about you?"

"kinda, that's why i got worried and wanted to ask you..."

"don't worry, you should be happy that this song isn't about you haha but seriously though, you know i would talk to you if something bothered me and i wouldn't write a song about our problems" 

"i'd also do the same, i still love the song, oppa" 

"gomawo, i'll let you listen to the original song sometime! you've listened to crazy in love right?"

"of course i did! it's definitely my favourite song on the album hehe"

 "i'm really happy to hear that, jagiya. i started writing this song after we went on a few dates. i started feeling all these new emotions and i really felt like i was crazy in love with you" 

"aw you're the sweetest, baby. i actually felt the same way, i'm always crazy in love with you"

we continued the call for the next 15 minutes or so then jihoon had to go back with the members so we ended the call. i got ready bed and stayed up listening to the album on repeat and streamed the music video.
