the school bell just rang, after going to roll call, i went straight to the music room to practice and get myself ready for the year 12 concert.

10:30AM

we just finished attending our last meeting and were still in the office planning the surprise for y/n tomorrow at her graduation ceremony. 

"how are we going to surprise y/n?" seungkwan asked

"i could ask y/n's parents to help out so we can sit together at the graduation ceremony and eat out for dinner afterwards" i suggested

"sounds good but do you have their phone numbers?" seungcheol asked and i shook my head

"maybe we could visit y/n's parents while she's out" seokmin suggested

"jihoon-hyung has to make sure that y/n isn't home when we visit" vernon said

"okay, i'll try not to be too obvious" i said 

"we should get y/n a graduation gift!" minghao suggested

"let's give her all versions of al1 signed" jeonghan said

"also pretty bouquet of flowers" soonyoung said

"this is so exciting!!" chan said happily 

"y/n is going to be so surprised and happy" i said and smiled

12PM

everyone lined up to enter the school hall and sat down on their seats. my grade were sitting at the front but when it's almost time for the performers to perform, they had to go backstage. coincidentally, for the line-up i was act 17 so i had time to relax and prepare myself. 

12:30PM

at the start of act 16, i quickly went backstage. as soon as the performance ended, i sat on the piano chair, waited for the emcee to announce my name.

"next is y/n! she will be performing a song she has made about a special someone. everyone, please welcome, y/n!" the emcee announced then walked off stage

the curtains opened up, the spotlight shined on me and the crowd were screaming my name. i could easily spot my friends in the audience, i smiled, started playing the piano and sang. during the performance, i was in the zone while thinking about jihoon. i saw some people turning on their phone flashlights then eventually everyone else started doing the same while waving it side-to-side. 

when i finished performing, i stood up and bowed. the audience cheered, i saw my friends doing standing ovations while screaming my name. everything went perfectly but i didn't expect the whole crowd to be this supportive and for me to receive this much love. i felt so happy and relieved. i walked off stage, sat back down at my seat with my friends and watched the rest of the year 12 concert. 

1:30PM

the year 12 concert just ended and it was lunch time. my friends and i quickly helped out to clean the school hall then we ate lunch at a mexican restaurant nearby. 

"you truely did amazing, y/n!"

"that song was so sweet and calm" 

"thank you so much guys~"

"how long did it take to write that song?"

"hmm...just over a month since i was on and off writing and producing it"
