And he kissed her.

Taylor stood frozen. Still aghast. Her eyes wide open from the shocking action.

She did not respond to the kiss, which resulted in a chaste of course.

Suddenly, Taylor snapped out of her thoughts and looked up, meeting Zayn's eyes.

It was all her imagination.

"Taylor?" Zayn called out, snapping Taylor out of the moment.

Why did I imagine he'd kiss me oh my god! Taylor thought, trying to hide her blush.

"Y-yeah?"

"So? You want to go on a ride?" Zayn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh... Yeah, sure." Taylor smiled and brushed her bangs aside, pressing her lips together with embarrassment.

They both got into the car in silence and Zayn started driving.

The first two minutes were extremely quiet, Zayn didn't know what to say and Taylor didn't wanna distract him from focusing on the road.

Zayn was not enjoying the silence obviously.

"You said you were in love with someone else." Zayn said out of the blue.

Taylor eyes widen and she looked to the side to meet Zayn, focusing on the road. Her heart started accelerating faster and faster.

He continued after, "Is that someone... Me?"

Zayn finally turned around because he wanted to look into her eyes when she answered.

They stared at each other for a few moments, both of them only focusing on each other.

Taylor looked away after, towards the road yet Zayn was still focusing on her eyes.

Suddenly, Taylor's eyes widen and her eyes were reflecting a bright yellow.

"ZAYN!" Taylor shouted suddenly and Zayn immediately turned his focus onto the road.

To his realization, a huge truck was heading right at their way, horning the aggressively.

Suddenly, flashbacks of Lauren's accident hit Zayn.

No. He thought, I will never let her get hurt like she did.

Reacting quickly, knowing that this was the best way, he pulled the emergency break, unbuckled his seatbelt and landed himself right over Taylor, preventing any harm to happen to her.
