"Mum, but you know that this is not her fault. Please mum, can I see her?"

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Zayn's mum said, calming down a little.

A nurse walked in, holding a tray of food. She had long black hair and brown eyes.

Zayn looked up at her and that moment their eyes met, he knew they've met before. Not just met before. They've had a past together.

"Zayn?" The lady called out, the tray she was holding almost fell.

"Kaye?" Zayn called out too.

So, who is Kaye?

Victoria Kaye Gil. Zayn's high school girlfriend. They were naive and it was before Zayn even met Lauren. They go way back.

As you know, normal teenagers. Raging hormones, crazy in love, that was them during high school.

But they ended peacefully after a serious talk.

Just then, Zayn's mum walked out of the room.

His mum walked pass Kaye and they both have each other a small nod.

Just when the door closed Kaye started, "Oh my god. How are you? Oh, I'm sorry. You don't look good though."

"Obviously." Zayn added rubbing his nape a little.

Kaye took a seat at the edge of the bed. "So who got you into this situation, Malik?"

He kept quiet.

"I see this is because of a girl." Kaye smirked placing the tray on the side table.

"She's not just a girl." Zayn said frowning.

On the other side, Taylor was walking down the hallway towards the room Zayn's in with Harry following her.

On the way, she met Zayn's mum. They shared a few glances before Taylor started apologizing like crazy.

"It's okay. It's not your fault, dear. He brought it on himself." His mum said, after calming down, knowing she just needed someone to blame.

Zayn's mother then suddenly started sobbing then running away from her and Harry.

Taylor called out for her but Harry stopped her, assuring her she needed some time alone.
