"Oh my god, Julian. It's beautiful." Stunned, you locked eyes with him, and matched his wide smile.
"Kayla, will you marry me?"
You felt like you were going to cry.
"Yes, yes. A million times yes Julian!" You replied as he slipped the ring onto your finger.
You sat there admiring how it sparkled, even in your dimly light bedroom.
"You like it?" Julian asked, biting his lip.
"I love it, and I love you!" You cried tackling him into a giant hug.
He kissed you as you struggled to grab your phone off of the nightstand.
"What are you doing?"
You unlocked your phone, "I never want to forget this moment." You told him, tears brimming your eyes.
"Don't cry." He commanded, wiping your stray tears before planting a kiss on the tip of your nose.
You held the camera up, and began recording.
"Oh my god, I hope I didn't look like this all night." You commented studying your hair.
"You did look like that all night, completely stunning."
You rolled your eyes at your new finance.
"Julian and I, just got engaged!" You told the camera, waving your gorgeous ring.
Julian grabbed your hand and studied the ring, "Damn girl that's a rock."
"Didn't you buy it?"
"yeah, but I didn't pay that much attention." He confessed laughing.
"Julian, at least lie for my sake." You whined.
"First rule of marriage," he said looking into the camera, "Never lie."
"I should take notes." You replied quietly.
"I heard that!" Julian smirked, kissing you on the side of your head.
"Stay focused, this is our engagement announcement."
He put his hands up in defense.
"Tell them why you proposed." You Instructed, pointing the camera at him.
"Because, I knocked her up."
"Julian!" You playfully slapped his chest, "That's not funny!"
"I'm sorry, that one was for Rob, by the way. I proposed because I never want to spend a second away from you."
You felt your eyes watering again.
"Why did you say yes?" He asked taking the phone and pointing it at you.
"I said yes because I feel my happiest when I'm with you."
"Aw, Kayla you're too sweet."
You snatched the phone back, stopping the video.
"Can you take anything seriously?" You asked sending the video to your friends and family.
"Only my love for you," he replied, showering you with kisses.
"You're lucky I love you." You said, placing your phone back on the night stand.
"I sure am." He replied, pulling the comforter over top of you two.
