You dropped your purse on the counter and closed the door.
"Yuliana," Luke stood up from his seat on the couch, the sound of his voice put your teeth on edge. "You worried me, you weren't answering my calls." He explained inching closer to you.
"Stop." You commanded when he was inches from you.
You dodged him and walked into the kitchen. He followed you like a lost puppy.
"Can we talk now?" He pleaded taking a seat on the bar stool.
You turned your back to him and filled a tall glass up with water, you took a few gulps before turning to him.
"No we are not going to talk, you are going to listen." His eyes widened, but he nodded his head like he understood.
"I'm pregnant Luke."
His mouth dropped open, "What?"
"I can and will do this by myself, and as far as I'm concerned you don't even have to be around." You stated.
"Why wouldn't I be around?" He asked still in shock from the news.
"Because I can't even look at your face without feeling physically ill."
He closed his mouth and looked down at the table.
"We can move past this." He told you looking up.
"I can't."
He sighed, "You can't keep me out of that child's life."
"If I can't trust you to be faithful, how can I trust you with my child?" You barked.
"Our child." He said annoyed.
You rolled you eyes and put your glass in the sink.
"Do you really want that baby to grow up in a broken home?" He asked standing up.
"Do you really want me to grow old with a broken heart?" You fired back, leaning against the door frame.
"Yuliana, please you have to forgive me." He pleaded.
"I already have forgave you, I just don't love you anymore."
His face lost color, "Just like that? You're going up?" He asked.
"Don't put this on me, you have up the second you slept with that woman."
He took a step closer to you, "Let's
try again at this, please?"
And for the first time today, you cried in front of Luke, "I don't think you could ever be with one woman." You admitted through tears.
"I can, I can now."
You looked into his eyes, his sincerity burning into you.
"I can't be with someone who cheated on me, I just can't. I'm sorry, I have to go."
You turned to leave when you felt his hand on your stomach, "If this tiny cell can become a baby in 9 months, I can become a new man. You just wait."
You grabbed your coat and purse, "Goodbye Luke."
"Okay, but I'll see you later. I love you" He yelled through the shut door.
You sighed, you're not going to get rid of him easily.
