We quickly walked through the hallway, towards Dumbledore's office.
"What do you reckon he wants?" Arthur asked, breaking the silence.
"Who knows? It's Dumbledore. Wait, Saph, he didn't find out about our prank, right?" Sirius asked, nervously, and I whacked him over the head.
"Sirius, shut up. Innocent souls lurk among us." I joked, referring to Lily, Molly, and Arthur. James, Sirius, Remus, Peter and I burst out laughing.
"It couldn't be the prank because he wouldn't have called our little redheads." Remus explained as we neared Dumbledore's office.
"Guys, what prank?" Lily asked determinedly.
"Oh, we might have, um..." I began.
"Told the Slytherin prefects to tell the Slytherins-" James continued.
"That Dumbledore told them to-" Sirius kept saying, looking over at Remus.
"Go to the Great Hall at midnight." Remus finished off. The four of us fought back laughter, even though we were already stifling giggles like immature three year olds. Lily must have read my mind, because the next thing she did was call us just that - immature three year olds.
"Oh, Lily, you say immature like it's a bad thing." I smiled at her.
"Acid pops." I told the gargoyle, because in the note, he said "P.S. I like acid pops." It must be teh password. Thankfully, the gargoyle moved aside and we walked through, to see Dumbledore calmly sitting in a chair, with quite a few chairs next to his.
"Ah, hello. I see you've received the note." He told us, smiling. I nodded and we all sat down in the empty chairs.
"Why is it that you wanted to see us, sir?" I inquired.
"Well, you see, Saph-" He began to talk, but another voice spoke.
"Sorry I'm late, sir. I-" It was Severus who came in, sitting down as well, but stopped talking as he saw all of us.
"What are you doing here?" James sneered. I shot him a look of disgust, gesturing to the fact that Dumbledore was here, and he changed his facial expression.
"I called him in here as well, James." Dumbledore spoke, still calm as always. There was not a trace of anger. "Now, I wanted to talk to all of you about an important matter." He continued. "Sapphire, did you have anymore nightmares?" He asked me. I felt eyes burn into me, as everyone stared at me.
"W-well, yes. Ever since I visited you about them, I actually had a lot more and something happened outside. It wasn't a nightmare, but I saw something sort of like that. I don't know." I explained, though not very clearly. I remembered a short, but terrifying nightmare that I had at James' house. I remember that the Whomping Willow shaking vigorously and a blue car falling into it.
"Please, explain everything. Don't mind that your friends are here. They have a right to know." Dumbledore looked concerned. My friends looked frightened, too. The words leaked out of me like water spilling out. I explained about the nightmares of the duel, the man with the weird eye, and the car. I told them about the moment that occurred when I fell in contact with James's arm.
"Yes. Curious, very curious. Well, I have to inform you, Sapphire. That moment was a vision. All signs point to one thing. You are, in fact, a seer."
My mouth fell open, as did my friends'. I couldn't believe it. Remus predicted it and I hoped it wouldn't come true.Yet, like all the nightmares, it's bound to come true no matter what.
