Chapter 27: Back to Hogwarts.

Sirius's P.O.V.

Today, everyone goes back to Hogwarts. We said good-bye to Saph's parents and boarded the train. I can't stop smiling. Ever since Christmas,I feel like the happiest person in the world. And we played ten questions, finding a lot about each other. Thank goodness I was able to stop myself from telling her about Remus's furry problem. He would never live it down if I told anyone. Ever.

"What's wrong, Sirius?" She asked, with a concerned look on her face.

"Hm? Oh nothing. Just thinking." I explained, trying to hide what I was thinking of. She nodded and smiled. I raised an eyebrow. She leaned in to kiss me and a smile spread across my face, yet again. We were about a centimeter away from each other, when someone burst in. We quickly separated.

"Are we...interrupting something?" Prongs asked with a wink. I rolled my eyes and I saw Saph blush. She looks cute when she blushes. Lily giggled.

"You guys are like, a thing now?" She asked. Sapphire looked down and nodded. I looked back at Lily to see her smiling. Prongs gave me a thumbs-up. But then, I saw Lily's smile fade.

"Saph, can you come with me for a second?" Saph nodded, but looked confused. When they left, Prongs sat across from me.

"How'd that happen?" He asked, referring to our relationship.

"Long story. I'm staying at her house indefinitely. My family isn't my family anymore." I said.

"Really? What happened?" He asked, but I told him I'll explain later. "What do you think they are talking about?" I shrugged at his question. What were they talking about?

Sapphire's P.O.V.

As I leaned in to kiss Sirius, someone burst in. We separated.

"Are we...interrupting something?" James winked. I blushed and I heard Lils giggle.

"You guys are like, a thing now?" Lils pointed at us. I looked down and nodded. "Saph, can you come with me for a second?" She asked. I caught a glimpse of James sitting across from Sirius. We walked out of the compartment.

"What's wrong, Lily?" I asked in confusion.

"Are you sure about this?" She asked me.

"Yeah..."

"Really? Because you know he's a player. And that he bullied you. He can break your heart faster than you can say 'butterbeer.' Are you really sure? After everything?" She seemed genuinely concerned.

"I do know he's a player. And he bullied me. Past tense. Look, I'm sure. It's a long story but, I know the truth of how he feels about me."

"How would you know he's not lying?"

"Because of Veritaserum. We played a game, 10 questions, not 20. We used the potion to make sure it's all truth. I asked him if he was going to break my heart eventually, like every other girl. He said he wouldn't." I smiled when I said that.

"You're smarter than anyone gives you credit for, Saph." She said. I rolled my eyes.

"Shall we go back?"

"Let's change into our robes. Then we'll go back to the compartment." I nodded and we changed into our robes as we approached Hogwarts. We went back to the compartment. I sat next to Sirius, my boyfriend - I'll never get used to saying that, and Lils sat next to James.

"Hey there!" I said, enthusiastically.

"Hi, love." Sirius said. I blushed. Lily nudged me, as a little warning, and I gave her a look. He put his arm around me and James did the same to Lily. We talked about random things and laughed the whole ride. When we finally got to Hogwarts, we entered the Great Hall and walked to Opal and Remus. We hugged them, talking all about our Christmas. After we ate dinner, we went to our dorms. Lily and Opal kissed their boyfriends and went upstairs leaving me with Sirius.

"Night, Sirius." I pecked him on the lips.

"That's all I get?" He pouted. I rolled my eyes. I walked up to him and kissed him. He kissed back. "That's better."

"Goodnight." I waved as I walked upstairs. I walked into the room to see Lily not there and Opal staring at me. "Hey." I said, nervously.

"Why didn't you tell me you and Sirius are together?"

"Well, I was going to when I walked up here, but now you know. Surprise!" I said, with jazz hands. She stifled a laugh.

"And Lily told me about 10 questions." She put up her hand and I high-fived her. I remembered something.

"Sirius mentioned something about Remus having a 'problem'." I said, putting air quotes around 'problem.'

"About that...he told me. He told me not to tell anyone and that only him, the Marauders, and I know. I don't know if I can keep something like that from you. Or Lils, but I have to." She explained.

"Opal...please tell me." I asked.

"I don't know if I can betray him like that."

"I won't hate him or anything. Please?" She took a deep breath.

"We can't tell Lily. We just can't." I nodded. "Okay. Well, Remus...he's a werewolf. He was bitten once and that's how he became one. And the Marauders help him on full moons. They're unregistered animagi. For Remus." My eyes widened. That's why they had those nicknames. And the map. They're like me.

I didn't respond coherently, but nodded to Opal, put on my pajamas, and went to sleep. I didn't care what will stand in my way. I will confront the boys tomorrow.
