Hours Later....
Alison's POV
I woke up this afternoon, in my same pajamas. Why am I always waking up late? I thought. I sat up in bed, and looked over to where Nathan usually is. He wasn't there. I walked out of the room, to find all of the boys sitting on the couch. "Hey." I said quietly. I was suddenly very shy in the presence of all of them.
"Hey. Nathan finally told us about you. Although he's failed to mention you at other points." Siva said looked at Nathan with arched eyebrows. I laughed at that, and Nathan blushed. I said hi to everyone with a hug. I even hugged Max, although we had already met. "So, did Nathan tell you about what happened with me?" I asked everyone, referring to the fact that I was a Vampire.
"Oh! That's the one thing I forgot. Boys, she's a Vampire as well." He stood up and announced. They all looked at me with a bit surprise. "And don't worry, I won't bite any of you. Nath told me none of you wanted to get bitten." I assured. Getting bitten is the least of my worries. Max was thinking. I looked at him and gave him a little smile. He slowly returned it. "I've always wondered why you boys never wanted to get bitten." Nathan said suddenly.
"I don't really know. I guess it wouldn't be so bad. If you didn't kill us in the process." Max said. At least he was talking to someone now.
"I wouldn't kill you! I could stop myself." He got a bit defensive.
"I'll believe it when I see proof." Jay said.
"I am proof." I said slowly.
"Nath turned you?" Tom asked, clearly shocked.
"Um...yeah. Who else could have?" I asked, being sarcastic.
They were silent. "Exactly. No one. So now you have proof. He wouldn't kill you, you would be fine."
"I still don't think it would be good." Siva warned.
"How about I come over there and prove it to you myself." I stepped closer and flashed my fangs. He moved away quickly. What the hell was happening to me? Nathan grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "Calm down." He said. "Sorry. I don't know how that happened. For some reason, something snapped." I muttered, for only him to hear. Why did that just happen?
"Sorry Siva." I said.. "It's fine." He shrugged. He seemed to be okay with the fact that I just nearly bit him. Alright then.
"Anyway, if you all don't want to get bitten, you don't have to. I just never understood why." Nathan explained.
The boys all looked at one another, unsure of what to really say. "I guess it wouldn't be bad..." Tom muttered. "If you change your mind, you know where to go." Nathan pointed to himself.
"So, when did you get turned?" Jay asked me.
That was a weird question to ask. "I don't know, some days ago." I wasn't exactly sure when, I just threw out something off of the top of my head.
"Why does it matter?" I asked, not trying to be rude or defensive to him.
He shrugged, "Just wondering."
"You wanna tell them what happened in the woods?" I asked Nathan.
"No, no I don't." He shook his head.
"It would be a good idea." I said.
"Tell us what?" Max interjected.
"If you won't tell them, I will." I ignored him.
"Tell us what!!?" Tom yelled.
Nathan started to tell them. "You know of Adam, correct? Well, after I turned Alison, Adam confronted us. And he brought 'friends'. They were members of the High Council of Vampires. Also known as Jackasses 101. They came up to me, and -"
"No, you came up to them." I interjected.
The boys all snickered. "Okay, yes I came up to them.
Anyway, they were talking of making Alison one of them. Keep in mind, I said they were Jackasses 101. They were saying that she was going to become one of them. At the time, she didn't have her fangs, or really anything, so she didn't do much. But then she got completely mad at them, and she got her fangs right then." He explained.
"Okay, look. At the time, I was able to do things. I could reads minds, and do mind control." I defended myself.
"But you didn't have your fangs, so you couldn't really do anything to them. If you tried to control their minds, it wouldn't do much of anything. They're much powerful, and probably wouldn't have been affected by your mind control." Nathan pointed out.
"Yes thank you." I said quickly, my tone had sarcasm in it.
He chuckled. "But anyway, more to the point, they are after her now." He finished.
I didn't say it out loud, but I wanted to go kill all of those other Vampire in the High Council. My facial expression most likely gave away to what I was thinking.
"So what would happen if she does end up doing what they say she'll do?" Jay asked.
I bit my lip at that. Jay had a point. That's something I never took the time to think of. "It won't happen. I won't let it." Nathan said after a while. Does he know that for sure? I gave a worried look. "But you have to think about it Nath. Even though it won't happen, just think about if it actually did." I told him.
"I said it wouldn't happen." He growled and got in my face. I saw his eyes change color and his fangs come out. My eyes went wide with fear. All of my fear suddenly came rushing back from when I first knew he was Vampire and I was still human. I said I wasn't scared, but in reality, I was shitting a brick when I found out. When he had told me he was a vampire, I managed a brave face and said I wasn't scared. But I was scared shitless. "Nathan! Calm down." Max got up and tried to get him from my face. He picked Max up and threw him across the room hard. He hit the wall with great force, and the wall had a dent in it. I gasped, and I heard the boys gasp as well. They all got up to help Max off of the ground. "He's out cold!" Jay said. I just stood and looked at Nathan with disbelief and fear. He didn't say anything. He sprinted out of the house in a fit of anger.
"Go get him some water." Siva said. I did as he said and got a cup of water. I also got an ice pack from the freezer, just in case. I went and knelt down against Max. I threw some water on his face. "Max. Wake up." I kept flicking water water on him. My hands were very wet so a lot of water was hitting him each time. He fluttered his eyes open. "Hey mates." He said to everyone. "Oh thank god he's awake." Tom said. I smiled at him. I was happy there was no permanent damage. "Max, you got hit pretty hard and got knocked out. Does anything hurt?" Jay asked.
"My shoulders and head." He said. I handed him the ice pack to put on his head. I turned his head to see if there was any damage on the back side. A large bruise, and it was bleeding. I got hungry at this. But I pushed my hunger down and I helped him. "You have a bruise on the back of your head, and it's bleeding." I said and got up to get something to clean it up.
I got back with a cloth and dabbed the back of his head with it. I stopped after I was sure it wasn't bleeding anymore. He should be fine now. It was a pretty big bruise, but it was only ever noticeable if you payed attention to it close enough.
He turned his head back to face us. "Why did Nathan do this?" He asked while putting the ice pack on a shoulder. As if I know why. I thought. "I don't know. I knew he had a temper, but I didn't know he was like this. Has he ever gotten this upset before?" I asked. Nathan always had a temper, that was a no-brainer, but i've never seen it flare up like this. "No, actually. We've never seen him go this mad. This is the first time." Jay said. Tom, Siva and Max nodded in silent agreement. I wondered why he was suddenly this upset about something that may never happen. He just snapped and got so mad at me.
What was happening to him?
