Nathan's POV

As I watched Alison walk away, I felt really stupid. Why didn't I go with her? She will get hurt out there if she goes alone. Riley may be a horrible she-devil, but she's much, much older than Alison and could rip her apart.

I half expected her to turn around and rethink this. But nope.

She kept on going.

I know I'm being a bad boyfriend if I don't go, so I ran and caught up with her.

"I thought you weren't going to go with me." She said, not stopping to look at me.

"Changed my mind." I shrugged.

We didn't say anything else for the rest of the walk.

1 hour later..

Alison's POV

"Time to get answers." I said once we were at the threshold of the High Council building.

We stepped in, and I actually expected some Vampires to come out at us, but no.

No one came.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Nathan said and he walked behind me.

"You didn't have to come." I half-turned and said.

"I know that."

"So if you've got a bad feeling about it, why are you here?"

"Maybe because I care about your well-being and I don't want to see you get hurt." He shot back.

He was starting to annoy me. I didn't pay anymore mind to him as we walked around. I honestly had no clue where I was going, I just knew I needed to find Riley.

-

After going through so many rooms and finding nothing, I almost wanted to give up.

Then, I got an idea.

The one room we didn't check was the one that I was in when Riley captured me. I figured she wouldn't be there.

I circled back around and ran to that room. Nathan followed.

I opened that door, and no one was there.

But then, we heard a door slam behind us.

We whipped around, and it was none other than Riley.

"You." I said.

"Hello Alison. Back for more I see?" She smirked.

"I'm not here to join you or to fight you. I'm here for answers."

"To what questions?" She looked positively curious.

-

"Let's start with why you killed Katherine and Asher DiLaurentis."

She looked puzzled and confused at first, but then an evil smile slowly crept up on her face. "Ah, yes. Kathy and Asher. Somehow I knew this day was going to come." She smirked.

"Why did you kill them." I said.

"Lot's of reasons dear." She was talking as if this was the most normal conversation in the world.

"I've got all night." I narrowed my eyes at her.

She chuckled. "I killed them because they were horrible people."

"You're not exactly on the nice scale either." Nathan spoke up behind me. I silently agreed with him.

She shrugged. "Your mother was such an awful person. Thinking she was better than everyone else. She was more nasty to me than anyone else though. Her and I were long-standing rivals. She outdid me at everything. And when she got with Asher, she got him in the mix by turning him. Then they had you. The first Vampire-born baby since 1886. Ironcially, they never let you be your Vampire self, of which none of us could understand. We tried to get them to let you express your nature, but they said that they didn't want to put you in the mix. Then one day, Katherine pushed me to my breaking point.
