Meeting the Boys

Brianna's POV

I walked away from Ashton with a smile on my face. I could tell he was embarrassed by the way he was stuttering. I sat down between Alana and Emma on the couch across from the boys. The boy with the white hair spoke first.

"Hi, I'm Michael", he said, while giving us a friendly smile.

"Luke" the guy with a blonde quiff said while raising his hand without taking his eyes off of his phone.

"And I'm Calum" a guy with brown hair and a NASA tee said. The three of us said "hi" back and introduced ourselves. I noticed how Ashton was standing off to the side awkwardly, but I didn't say anything.

"So how'd you guys get back here anyway." Michael continued.

" It's a long story actually." Emma answered. I laughed at our clumsiness when Emma started explaining our unusual entrance. "First off, we came back here to find a restroom, but instead, we bumped into Harry and Zayn. We got to talking and they showed us around backstage, but then they reminded us we had to use the bathroom. When we came back, we found you guys."

"A mouthful but not that long of a story." Alana added.

"Aye mate come join the conversation!" Michael said

Ashton came over and tried to squeeze in with the other three boys on the sofa, but couldn't fit. So he just settled for leaning against the arm of the couch. Now that I got to see him up close I realized how attractive he was. His smile was just adorable and his arms.......were just so........ muscular.

Alana snapped me out of daydream by elbowing my side. I gave her a "what the heck" look, but she just smirked at me. Then I found myself blushing, but luckily nobody noticed.

We talked for what seemed like 30 minutes until we heard One Direction come backstage. I looked at my phone for the time. It was almost freaking 11:00!

"Looks like we missed the concert" I said disappointedly.

" Don't worry, I'm sure we can get you to come to another show." Ashton assured.

"Maybe even backstage" Calum added lift his eyebrows up and down really fast.

I laughed, which caused everyone else to laugh at me, laughing at Calum...........If that made any sense to you I say "10 points for Gryffindor!"

When the laughter silenced I spoke out."Anyways, I think we should start heading to our hotel. It's a good 20 miles off."

" Hey what hotel are you staying at?" Luke asked.

" The Holiday Inn." Emma answered before I could.

" Great! That's where we're staying."

" Cool! So we'll meet you at the hotel."

We were just walking out of the door when someone grabbed my arm and held me back.

"Wait, umm could I have your number?"

It was Ashton.

" So like when we get there we can tell you what room were in." he continued.

"Sure", I responded.

We all exchanged numbers and the boys showed us the way out, considering we got lost trying to find the bathroom.

Alana and Emma ran out to my car while I exchanged numbers with Michael." See you guys later!" they yelled. I smiled at Ashton before I walked out the door, and he smiled back. I saw my Black Chevrolet Captiva in the parking lot, but when I looked in the car, I almost threw a fit. Emma was in the front seat!

Alana pointed to Emma saying she had nothing to do with it. She knew I was pissed off.

" Emma! You know the rules! No one else can drive this car."

Here's the deal. My dad got this car for the sixteenth birthday and I knew it was expensive. So I never let anyone else drive the car in fear that they'll crash it. This car is literally like my child.

Emma rolled her eyes and moaned. She climbed over into the passenger seat while I took her place in the driver's position.

I started up the car and we headed onto the Garden State North. The girls noticed that the boys were behind us so they started pulling funny faces at each other. After a while it became a competition to see who would be the first to laugh. I watched from the side view mirror as Alana tilted her head back, widened her eyes, and gave Ashton a creepy smile. Eventually he caved and cracked a smile.

We won, and knowing how the three of us are, we will annoy them later by bragging about it.
