Brianna's POV

After that 'party' it was already 5:00. We ended up playing Monopoly and Ashton kept argueing that when you can't afford your mortgage that other players have to pay it. Its so cute to see him interacting with a little girl. I can't wait until we have a little girl of our own..... woah did I just think that?

I tucked El in for a nap and closed the door of the bedroom. I turned around and Ashton was right there.

" Sorry did I scare you?" He asked

" Yea, but I'm fine." I said catching my breath.

" Well I'm going to be downstairs." He said

" Ok." And I went into our bedroom. I plopped down onto the bed, not paying attention to what was on it. I got up and saw that there was a package. On the top there was a card.

Meet me downstairs for dinner at 6:30. Wear this ;)

I opened the package and inside was the presttiest dress I'd ever seen. There was a pair of matching shoes and clutch.

I can't believe he did this. I looked at the time and it was 5:30; I had an hour and a half to get ready. I showered and put on a minimal amount of makeup because I know he he likes it when I don't wear a lot. I left my hair in its natural loose waves. I put on the dress and looked in the mirror. I loved the dress so much, I wouldn't mind Ashton picking out my wardrobe from now on.

When I went downstairs, Ashton was at the bottom holding my jacket. He offered to put it on and I obliged. He pulled out an umbrella, because it was raining. We ran to the car careful not to slip on the wet pavement. He opened the door for me and ran to the other side to the drivers seat. He turned the ignition and looked over at me.

"I knew that dress would look beautiful on you." He said smirking and I blushed. He placed his hand on my thigh and kept it there as he drove. I placed mine on top of his and he held it up and kissed the top of my hand. I smiled, looking out the window.We finally arrived and it stopped raining so we didn't take our umbrella.

" Reservations?" Asked the waiter at the front.

" Irwin." He said.

The waiter grabbed two menus and directed us to our table.

"Here is your table. I will be back to take your order." She said.

The restaurant was aboslutely grand. Everything felt luxury. The seats we sat on were red velvet cushions and there were massive glass chandeliers over every table. Not to mention the huge fountain in the front.

"I can't believe you did this....." I said in awe of the restuarant.

" I'd do anything for you, you know that." I blushed.

"Yea but...."

"Too much?" He asked and I nodded.

" This isn't us," he said, " let's go." And he got my jacket and bag.

" What about the waiter? She was going to take our orders." I said, putting on my jacket.

" She won't pay much attention." He said and we walked out.

"In and out?" Ashton suggested.

" Just what I was thinking." I laughed.

We got burgers from In and Out, which was enough for me. Actually.... it was perfect. I didn't need a perfect date at a fancy restaurant All I needed was Ashton and I could be the happiest girl in the world. Once we finished our food, Ashton took my hand and we headed outside.

We went for a walk in the park. It was beautiful out. We held hands and there was a nice silence. The stars shone brightly through the branches of the trees. Water dropped from the ends of leaves and covered the stone walkway. Lamp posts lit the way throughout the trail in the park, leaving a reflection in the rain puddles. We came to the end of the trail which led to a huge water fountain; absolutely gorgeous. I took off my jacket and placed it on a nearby bench. I let go of his hand and started spinning around, with my arms stretched out, facing the sky. I closed my eyes and felt the cool summer breeze against my skin. Ashton watched me from the bench as I spun around, enjoying myself. He smiled and walked over to me.

"May I have this dance?" He said holding his hand out.

"I would love that." I smiled and I took his hand.

He placed both hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He swayed us back and forth. Then, he began to sing.

"Look at the stars-

Look how they shine for you-

I wrote a song for you-

As he sang, I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Your voice is beautiful. I would love to hear it more."

Ashton's voice was perfect. His tone was rugged, yet soft and could put you to sleep. It was so peaceful and pretty to listen to. He smiled at my comment. Ashton spun me around, then brought me in for hug. Two moments later I felt drops on my shoulder and it began to rain. Ashton and I looked at each other and smiled. We both leaned in and we were nose to nose. I felt his heavy breath on me and our lips connected. It was perfect. It wasn't persistent, but soft and gentle. It was warm love and it wasn't rushed. He brought his hand up to my cheek as we pulled away.

" I love you...." He breathed out.

I took a moment to process. He. Loved. Me. I already knew the answer to his question. I knew all this time. Since the day I saw him up on that stage, I knew he was something different. I knew I loved him deep down, I just didn't realize it.

" I love you too." I back to him.

He kissed my forehead and I burried my head into his chest as he rested his head on top. By this point, we were soaked, but I didn't care. I loved him. Everything about him...... He released his arms that were wrapped around me and dug into his pocket. He pulled out a small blue box and knelt down. He opened the box and I smiled wide. Inside the box was a-
