Brianna's POV
Today my mom and El were leaving. They've been here for a week and El has to go back because she has to start school again. The boys had to head to the studios to write some more music, so I was planning on taking my mom and El to the airport myself. My mom was helping my sister pack, while I was waiting downstairs. The boys came down and raided the kitchen for something to eat before they left. It was only 7:30, so they weren't very happy. Ashton grabbed an apple and sat down next to me on the couch.
"Why are you up so early?" He asked, taking a bite into his apple.
"I'm taking my mom and sister to the airport. Their flight leaves at 9:30 and traffic is going to be bad getting into the exit for LAX. So we have to leave by 8:00."
"I'll go with you."
"It's fine. I can take them. You have to go record." I told him.
"I don't want you going without one of us or security." He said, worried.
"Ashton, I am old enough to take care of myself."
"I don't want you getting hurt and I want you safe. If there are a lot of fans there, it can get aggressive."
"I promise I will stay safe." I told him, but he still seeemed worried.
My mother came downstairs with El and her suitcases.
"We're ready and packed." She said.
"Bye boys!" She said, giving everyone a hug.
Then El waved goodbye, but hugged Ashton. He lifted her up high and she giggled.
"Bye princess." He said and he kissed the top of her head.
"Bye Ashton!" She said and they got into the car.
"I'll be ok." I reassured Ashton and pecked his cheek.
I went out the door and got into the car. It took us half an hour to get to the airport. It usually takes 10 minutes, but traffic took us longer to get there. Once we finally arrived, we got in line to check their baggages in. The line was long, so we were there for awhile. There were already some girls there, who had followed us from when we left the house. Eventually, they walked over.
"Hi, Brianna!" They each said.
"Hi. How are you girls?" I smiled.
"Good!" They replied.
"Could we get a picture with you?"
"Sure." I said and I took a picture with each of them.
Then more girls came, and there were at least 20. We got our bags checked in and I went with my family to security. The girls followed us and they took a lot of pictures. El was getting a bit scared, so I held onto her hand and picked her up. They kept calling my name and I tried to not ignore them, but I had to focus on where I was going. They couldn't be late for their flight. At security, we had to exchange goodbyes. I kissed them both goodbye and flashes were everywhere.
I got out of the line and walked as quickly as I could to get out. Crowds started to form around me. More and more girls kept following me with their phones. I stopped for some photos and continued. How did everyone find out I was here? Left and right I heard questions about Ashton and our relationship. A few girls were very rude and were cussing out at me. They told me I was a whore, I was ugly, and that I should kill myself. I kept my head down and looked up to see where to turn, but groups of girls were blocking my every turn. Soon, I was surrounded. There was so much going on. Some girls were desperately begging for a picture. Some were taking as many pictures as they could, so there were flashes everywhere. Others were scratching me and pulling at my arms and hair. I tried to push through, but it wasn't working. My anxiety was building up and I didn't know where to go. Then, I felt an arm on me and it pulled me past the crowd. The unanimous person pulled me out of the entire crowd, but I didn't pay attention to who it was because I was so dazed. Everything was a blur. All I saw were guards keeping the girls a far distance from me. Someone picked me up bridal style and carried me out the airport. I instinctly wrapped my arms around the person's neck. I regained my vision and saw that it was Ashton.
"I knew I shouldn't have let you come by yourself." He said and wiped the tears that fell from my eyes.
Was I crying? I hadn't realized until I was out of the crowd. I felt a stinging pain on my arms. I looked down and saw that they were all scraped. My head was hurting, from the girls pulling at my hair and my cheeks had a few scratches, as well.
"I should have sent security to go with you, or something like that. This is all my fault." He said, tearing up a bit.
"I'll be fine." I said smiling a little, to show him that I was okay, as I wiped his tears away.
Ashton carried me into the car where the boys were waiting and I rested with my head on his lap.
"How is she?" Luke asked.
"She got scraped up. There was a crowd that surrounded her and she couldn't leave." Ashton said, playing with my hair.
He brushed his fingers through my hair to calm me down on the way back to the house. He refused to let me walk upstairs so he carried me and put me on the bed.
"Feel better." He said and he kissed me. After that, I easily drifted of to sleep.
