Date Night (Part 1)

Ashton POV

My body tensed, when she hesitated to answer me. Then when the word ' yes' came out of her mouth, I couldn't be happier. She showed her bright smile, and gave her quirky laugh; she was adorable. I knew I had to give her the best night ever. Something she would never forget. One problem was that we had a show tonight and we were currently living on a tour bus. I had to pull something out of my sleeve.

Once we finished breakfast, she got up and gave me a big hug. She had to go on her tippy toes for her arms to reach around my shoulders. She is so cute.

" Tonight at 8:30?"

"Ok I will be ready" She let go and went off to join her friends.

" So, did you finally man up and ask her out." Calum asked

I laughed." As a matter of fact I did." I said satisfied, dusting off my shoulders.

" Way to go, mate!" Louis said.

It was our second day here at Jones Beach and I was walking up on stage to sit on my drum seat. I turned to the right and saw Brianna smiling at me. She mouthed 'good luck' and gave me a thumbs up. I smiled back at her. She definitely got me motivated for the show, because I never missed a beat. Halfway through our set, she left to get ready for our date. I still had yet to figure out where to take her.

Brianna's POV

Ashton did incredible during his performance. Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of it to get ready for our date. I was sooooo nervous. I have actually never been on a date, kissed anyone, nor had a boyfriend. And I'm EIGHTEEN! Yeah, I know what your thinking. She was probably such a loner at school...blah,blah,blah. I actually wasn't. Whenever guys asked me out, I just politely told them 'no' and apologized. I didn't want any off campus relationships to interfere with my school work or grades. I was just a really dedicated student. I slipped my key card into the slot and opened the door to my suite. Alana jumped off the couch and grabbed me by my wrists.

" Where have you been! You need to get ready for your date missy!"

" I know, I lost track of time watching Ashton playing his drums."

" Fine. An acceptable excuse." I laughed.

" Anyways we need to go shopping for an outfit," She said.

" Well... Lets go!"

I actually enjoy shopping. Just the thrill of seeing all the cute clothes on the racks gets me hyped and makes me want to rob the entire store. (Girls you know what I'm talking about) We drove to the mall and went into Forever 21 which is my favorite store! Alana helped me pull out a few dresses and I tried them all on. The first was a fitted bright turquoise lace dress with short sleeves and a black belt. I looked in the mirror and it was hideous. I stepped out, interested in Alana's opinion. She took one glance at the dress, and turned away gagging. I laughed at her and went back inside. I hate when things look good on the racks, but when you try them on you think to yourself " What was I thinking?" The color was just too loud and it had an odd shape to it. The second dress was a silk eggplant T- Shirt dress. I looked at myself on the mirror. It was pretty cute. I stepped out for Alana's approval. She liked it, but she said to try the third one just in case.I took off the second and tried on the third. I looked in the mirror and I stood there smiling. It was perfect! It was black at the top with short sleeves and the skirt was a multi-colored print. It also had cutouts on the sides. I walked out confidently and her mouth gaped open.

" Bri, if Ashton doesn't look somewhat shocked when he sees you in this dress, he is not the man

for you!"

" Thanks." I laughed and changed out of the dress.

By the time we got back to the hotel it was already 8:00. How long were we shopping! I rushed into the bathroom to take a shower. I washed my hair and blow dryed it wavy. I decided to put it in a bun, since my hair would wave right back up once I stepped outside into the humidity. I clipped in cool chains behind my bun to accessorize and added a ton more gold bracelets and rings. I was a jewlery junky. Next was my makeup. First I started with BB Cream, because I don't like cakey foundation in the summer time. Next, I put on a natural beige as a base on my eyelid. Then did a slight darker brown on my outer corner for a neutral smokey eye. Then I added eyeliner and mascara on my outer corner. When I was done in the bathroom, I went into my shopping bags for the pair of heels and purse I had bought whilst shopping. I chose hot black heels and an orange clutch. I looked at myself in the mirror satisfied.

" Not too bad", I said to myself. I walked out and Alana hugged me.

" You look so pretty"

" Oh God, your acting like my mom before Prom."

" Hey!" I laughed. Then someone was knocking on the door.

" Sorry not sorry" I smirked at her and went to open the door and...
