Ashton POV

I drove myself and Brianna to the carnival that just opened up a few blocks away from the house. I saw signs posted all around the neighborhood about the opening. So, I knew it was the perfect chance for me to put her mind at ease. In no time we found a parking and arrived at the carnival.

"We could've walked." I said getting there in a minute's time.

" Probably." Briana agreed getting out of the car.

We both walked in hand in hand to get our tickets and explore the carnival. There were games of every kind among rows and rows of booths. There was a giant ferris wheel seeming as a large skycraper from our viewpoint far below. There were small yet intreging rollarcoasters all about. Not to mention the kissing booth.

" Don't worry we'll come back for that." I whinked at her pointing at the kissing booth. She laughed, hitting my chest playfully.

" Let's head onto the teacups first!" She said excitedly, dragging me towards the line.

" Okay I'm coming!" I laughed at her eagerness.

When it was our turn, we were guided along into our own teacup cart and the man closed the gate. We buckled our safety seatbelts, waiting for the ride to start. Honestly, I didn't think the teacups were that much of an intense ride, but I thought wrong. As it first started, I was pretty sure it was going to be light, fun ride. Then things got a bit dizzy....

" Ready?" The control man asked the round of people.

" Yeah!" Everyone responded and the ride began.

"Wait, what do we do?" I asked, confused.

" Just turn this wheel in the middle to make it spin." She began turning the wheel super fast, causing our teacup to go around over a hundred times.

" Are you okay?" She asked, noticing that I looked naucious, " I can slow down."

" No, I'm totally fine." I lied, trying to act manly.

I spent the rest of the ride tring not to throw up and holding on tightly to the sides of the teacup. Eventually the ride came to a stop, and I got out as soon as I could.

" Thank god we're done with that." I said, feeling slightly unbalanced.

" Do you think teacups are a kiddy ride now?" She asked, with a smirk on her face.

" Okay, okay. They are more like the Teacups of Terror." I admitted.

"The 'Teacups of Terror?'" She laughed at my name for the dizzy ride.

" Come sit down on the bench. We can take a break."

" Thanks." I said, happy to lay back.

" I'll be right back. I'm gonna get you so some ice cream." She smiled.

A few minutes later she returned with two swirled soft vanilla on a cone for the two of us. She sat down and I leaned my head on her shoulder and she rested her head on top of my head.

We enjoyed nice silence, which is the best kind of silence. The ones that aren't awkward, while waiting for someone to speak. They're the ones that give a quiet time to think when you're with someone. We finished our ice creams and continued on to the booths.

"People of all ages come on down to the ring toss!!! C'mon and win a prize!" The boothman yelled out.

" Hey young man right over there," He called me out of the crowd," Why don't you get a prize for that lovely lady of yours!"

"Alright I'll give it a shot." I said walking over to the booth.

He handed me the rings, " Okay, young man you have four chances to get a ring through these here bottles. If you get one you get the small prize. If you get three you get the regular prize and of course if you 'em all you get the grand prize." He pointed to the giant stuffed elephant on the top shelf of the wall behind him.
