I Can't Lose You

(PREVIOUSLY)

It was around 1:00 in the morning, so I went off to bed, well couch actually. All I could think about was Ashton. Should I forgive him and take on the challenges of long distance? Or am I better off finishing something that wasn't meant to be?


Briana's POV



My eyes opened immediately , when I heard Ashton, again. However, I pushed all my thoughts aside....




Ashton's POV



"No! Don't touch her! Please, stop!" I couldn't bare to watch her in pain, but I couldn't do anything and I felt a force holding me back. I just wanted it all to end....


Suddenly, I felt a familiar presence next to me. They wrapped their arms around me and I instinctly did the same; it was Brianna. All of a sudden, I was back in my room and it was all just a nightmare, a horrible nightmare.


"Why did you come up to help me?" I asked her, wiping the sweat off my forehead.



"No matter how hard I try, I can't move on from you. Maybe that's a bad thing, but it's also amazing because I get to spend every second with you. Although, we won't see each other once December comes.... But I don't think I can give up just yet."


"Can you forgive me?" I asked, desperately.


"Yes."


"Thank you and thank you for saving me." I thanked her.


"It was the least I could do. I hope you know that's it's so hard not to come up here. It takes all the self-control I have to not wrap my arms around you and stop these nightmares from happening... It's the worst thing to see you in that state. I feel so bad for letting you go through that. I so sorry...." She started crying.


I took both her hands into mine.


"Look at me. You have nothing to be sorry for. I deserved it and I should be the one apologizing because you did nothing wrong." I reassured her and she nodded.


That night was the first night in two weeks when I slept peacefully. She is honestly my savior and I can't lose her.
