Dinner (Part 2) Jealousy

Ashton POV

I texted Calum telling him that our table was ready. Everyone came inside and sat down. Calum, Brianna, Luke, Alana, Harry, and I were sitting on one side of the table. On the other side was where Niall, Louis, Emma, Zayn, Michael, and Liam were sitting.

A waiter came up to the table next to us. As he was wiping down the table, he kept looking at Brianna. He was pretty tall and well built. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. After he finished cleaning the table, he winked at her and walked away. She smiled back at him. He better not be serving us.

"Ash, are you okay?" Brianna asked me. I loved when she called me that.

Apparently, my anger was obvious because I looked down and saw my hands were clenched tightly and my body was stiff. I unclenched my fists and loosened my body.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I lied. She knew something was up, but she didn't question it any further, which I was happy about.

" The waiter's coming." Harry said. I looked over, hoping it wasn't the douche from earlier....What is getting into me?

"Hi. My name's Andrea. What drinks can I start you off with?"

Thank God....

We ordered our food and the waitress left to place the orders.

" Yay! Food!" Michael and Niall chanted together.

I assumed Andrea would be bringing our food, so I glanced over and almost choked on my drink...... Fan- fucking- tastic..... Look who it is....

" Here's your food. I will be serving you for the rest of the evening because Andrea had to leave unexpectantly." Yeah right...He smiled directly at Brianna and said," By the way my name is Matt. And who is this lovely lady." Douche-Flirt.

" Brianna." she replied with a smile and he shook her hand.

I mentally gagged. If we weren't in a public place, I wouldn't be bothered to rip his head off. She is unbelievable. How could she do this! She knows I have feelings for her! I thought she actually liked me, but she led me on. I couldn't look at her the entire dinner. She kept trying to make eye contact with me, but I ignored her. She eventually stopped trying to get my attention.The boys seemed concerned, but they didn't ask. When, Matt came back with the check, I saw him slip a small piece of paper through the top. We got up to go and Brianna reached for my hand, but I immediately pulled it away. Everyone saw, and I sped away to the car angrily.

Everyone hopped in the car silently. It was a chilling silence. Alana and Emma occasionally tried to talk to Brianna, but she responded shortly. Luke and Liam also tried to talk to the two of us, but I shrugged them off. The boys gave each other confused looks, but I didn't care. All I knew was that I was pissed. I glanced over at Brianna, and she was looking out the window. She almost looked like she was going to cry; her eyes were glossy and her bottom lip was quivering.

Once we got back to the tour bus, Brianna grabbed her pajamas and went over to sleep on the other tour bus. I rolled my eyes at her, as she passed me by. I plopped onto the couch and burried my face into my hands.

" Ok. Spill it, mate. What did you do to Brianna. The girls said she's really upset." Calum said.

" Me?!? You've got be fucking kidding me! Didn't you see her flirting with that douche of a waiter! She knows I like her and she led me on!" I defended.

" Actually, HE flirted with her. Not the other way around. And if you weren't too busy being a douche yourself you would have seen the look on her face, after he left. She was absolutely disgusted. But, no, you were to busy ignoring her. And lastly have you even told her about your feelings?" Luke asked.

" She looked pretty happy, when he slipped his number into the check." I scoffed.

" Which she ripped and threw into the trash outside." Michael finished my sentence.

" No...." I said.

" Yes." I was suddenly filled with guilt and regret.

" I am such an idiot. What am I gonna do? She hates me..." I mentally scolded myself.

" For starters, you should really apologize and let her explain herself. The poor girl is really upset." Calum said.

" You're right."

I got up and went over to 1D's bus and knocked. Emma opened the door.

" Brianna's in the back room."

" Thanks." I sped by and found her sitting on the floor, watching a movie with Niall and Liam.

" We'll leave you guys alone." Liam said, once he saw me in the doorway. Him and Niall both got up and walked past. Brianna began to follow them, but I held onto her arm, to keep her from leaving.

" Please let me talk."

" Funny, because at the restaurant you had trouble even looking at me." she scoffed. I let go of her arms and she stayed there.

" I know, I know...." I pushed my hair back with my hand. " I thought you liked the waiter, so I got over-protective, though I know I shouldn't have because we're not technically together." She seemed thrown off by my last words.

" Why!?! He was obnoxious!"

" You didn't say anything telling him to stop!" I yelled at her.

" I didn't want to be rude, unlike you!" She fired back.

" You were so oblivious to the way he was looking at you!"

" Why do you care? It's not like we're together." She quoted my previous words.

" Maybe because I like you!" Well, that came out unexpectedly....

There was a silence, and I thought she was going to yell at me. Then she spoke softly.

" You should have given me the chance to explain before you jumped to conclusions. I never would have hurt you like that."

" Yeah, I was stupid..." I sat on the couch and burried my face into my hands again.

She sighed and sat next to me" It wasn't stupid. It was nice of you to get protective over me. But, you don't have to do that because you should know that I like you." She smiled and took my hands away from my face. I smiled back.

" I'm sorry."

" I forgive you."

A/N: Ooooooo Ash is getting jealous. Lol much more drama coming soon, but first I need some story development, but keep reading because ur in for a bumpy ride. I have a lot planned for this book, but you just gotta wait and seeeeee!!!!! There's a lot of things that you won't be expecting, but my lips are sealed. Anyways comment on whether or not ur digging the story so far and on what u think of jealous Ashton. I know my reads are growing, but I'm not sure if you guys like it :-(
