Recap:

"I hope I'll be able to wake up early tomorrow and I hope my report will do me good," thought Daisuke, anticipating a reply. But instead of 'sleep already' or I'm trying to sleep here' the reply he received was soft snoring coming from his alter-ego. Guess what? Dark already fell asleep.

Daisuke smiled to himself and said, "Good night, Dark!"

Shortly after that, he fell asleep too and drifted off to dream land. That's when it started pouring.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

What a gloomy day, it seemed. People can't walk outside, kids can't play, chasing each other in the streets. A bad weather for skateboarders, for drying laundries. It was a very rare whole night non-stop rain.

Daisuke woke up, stretching his limbs out, yawning and rubbing his eyes. His gaze subconsciously dropped to his alarm clock, only to find out that he's an hour late for his schooling already. Daisuke's eyes dilated at this, and even more when he saw that he forgot to pull the alarm trigger last night.

"What's wrong with you?" he questioned himself, looking through his balcony window. "And great, it's raining. It will be harder for me to get to school like this."

He hit his heat lightly and fixed his bed, jumping down to the floor. He changed into his school uniform and prepared his bag.

"My next subject is science and I have a report! What if I don't make it on time? What if the school does not let me in?" he panicked in the inside. Dark was still sleeping, so he didn't hear any of Daisuke's problems.

He dashed out of his room and ran downstairs only to see his grandfather sipping a tea, his father reading newspaper, With sleeping on the couch, and his mother and Towa preparing food.

"Good morning!" he greeted and rushed to the kitchen, preparing his breakfast alone.

"Eat with us today, Daisuke," said Emiko.

"Sorry, Mom," replied Daisuke, "I'm going to be late for school today."

"But you're already late," Towa intervened, "And classes are suspended today." She grinned happily.

"Really?" Daisuke doubted, blinking twice.

"Towa is right, Daisuke," Emiko agreed with a wide smile, "Today is your rest day, so cheer up!"

"That's great!" Daisuke sighed and smiled back to them.

Meanwhile, at the park bench, there was a young maiden sitting, soaked in the rain. It was assumed that she slept there all night and got caught up in the rain and there are no sheds nearby. For the time being, she was hugging her knees to her chest and abruptly wearing a troublesome expression. She could feel the overflowing magic and energy coursing through her veins.

"What had just happened?" she asked herself, "and where am I?"

She started looking around only to find out that she was in a park wherein she has no idea how she got there. Her head was throbbing and she was feeling hungry and cold. She looked down to her hand and saw a black feather casted near it. She picked it up and brought it near her face.

"I remember it," she whispered to herself, "but not much."

The incantation Dark recited and the spell he casted on her has not taken its effect to the fullest. Her magic powers reacted to it, leaving her memory of that night vague and fragmented. But to the worst extent, it has taken an effect that it must have not. She forgot her purpose in this dimension.
