"JUVIA, DOCK!" shouted Gray, as he dodged his opponents' first attack.

Juvia shot out of her trance, but she was too late. When she turned to face her enemy, he knocked her off with one blow. Juvia was sent flying off to the corner, crashing her body hard in the wall. Normally, attacks as simple as that wouldn't work on her water body, but that property of her body wore off now that she has been beaten. She squeezed her eyes and opened them to see what was happening. Due to the impact of both the blow and the crash, everything went black instantly.

"JUVIA...!" that was the last thing she heard before she was depraved of consciousness.

"Gray..." she replied in a weak voice before closing her eyes firmly and resting, "I'm sorry."

Gray stumbled in his way. There was something on the floor that went unnoticed due to his eagerness to help Juvia. As he fell to the ground, his side in contact with the cold flooring, His opponent jumped towards him.

His opponent landed towering over him, with his legs wide apart. Gray was trapped beneath his enemy, unable to stand up immediately. He must have partially injured himself when he stumbled because he held his side with his arm.

His nemesis used his magic energy to wield a sword. He had a wide smirk plastered across his face as he charged the sword over his head. His eyes glinted as he clutched the sword tighter, ready to swing it down and behead the innocent young wizard trapped beneath him.

His smirk grew even wider as the veins in his widely opened eyes nearly popped. Gray squeezed his eyes closed as the wizard swung his sword down, anticipating a sharp pang of pain in his neck before he loses his breath entirely. But none came...

Instead of it, he heard the loud sound of iron clashing. Gray opened one of his eyes to peak out and felt relieved with what he saw. He saw Gajeel, blocking the sword wizard's attack with his iron bar arm.

"Don't just lie down there and do nothing," Gajeel commanded, "Fight them off!"

Gray just nodded and shrugged out of his position, leaving that wizard to Gajeel.

Gajeel seemed stronger than the other wizard as he was able to push his arm up, countering the attack of the sword wizard that never let go of his stand.

When his sword was high enough and he felt balanced, Gajeel used one of his lets and kicked the enemy. He even turned it into another iron bar for more special effect that sent the wizard flying.

Gray walked up to the unconscious Juvia and bent down to her level. He shook her shoulder, trying to wake her up, but nothing happened. It seemed that the strike she received earlier was really too much. And besides that, the place where they were fighting had no much water within. The only water Juvia had was the one inside the covered tube like container that was tied in her waist.

This mission they took was one of the common mission guilds like Fairy Tail take. Just like most of them, this mission was about taking out another dark guild that was reported for causing a havoc in Magnolia.

The members of this guild were thieves, famous for stealing magic from common wizards for unknown purposes. Those innocent common wizards were the mages spread across Magnolia which doesn't belong to any guilds.

The name of this particular guild is Grim Lore, and they only attack during deep nights, where only few were believed to be awake. Because of their tactics, the soldiers were useless against them. Even if they were well trained, they have no means of fighting wizards. However, this issue was still too small to require the attention of the Rune Knights and the Magic Council.
