Recap:

"This is the perfect opportunity that I could get my revenge to him for locking me away in that filthy statue," Krad insisted, "I will kill him if I must."

"I might be evil, but I'm not Satan," Gryder declared with a smirk, "I'm sure you're the same as me."

"We just came here to observe," Gryder added, looking up at the stars, "I could feel it... the right time for use to make our move is about to arrive... imminently."

The heist was a success. Although the phantom thief fell on a petty trap, an extremely mortifying incident, he didn't let it bother him too much. The important thing is that the Golden Light's within his hands and they're headed towards home.

"Dark, it's still quite early," Daisuke uttered in the middles of their completely silent flight, "Are we headed home?"

"Sort of..." Dark replied silently, keeping his guard high against the presence of the police force even if he knew that they were wiped out.

"Mom would not expect us early tonight, but I'm pretty sure she'll be happy to have us home early," Daisuke added, not wanting to stay outside a bit longer.

Dark slipped a hand inside the bag, making sure that the Golden Light figure is still with them. After series of some unexpected disaster, it's positive that they might have left the figure somewhere unsafe. Fortunately, he felt it in his palm. He sighed in relief.

Sighting a familiar mansion, Dark's eyes dilated as he recalled something. "Do you mind if we stay out a little longer?" he asked all of a sudden.

"Why? You forgot something?" Daisuke doubted.

Dark shook his head in negation. "I just wanted to check something out."

Daisuke got curious. Of course they were both exhausted and wanted to rest already, but why does his alter-ego want to stay longer? Staring through Dark's eyes, he figured out why.

"You wanted to check something out?!" he nearly shrieked.

"Why? What's wrong with you?!" he nearly shouted. Dark had both wrists pressed on the sides of his forehead. Daisuke's sudden burst out gave him a bit of migraine.

"Is that an excuse?"

"Nope."

"You said you wanted to check something out," Daisuke continued, feeling a bit pissed, "Well, in fact, you wanted to check someone out!"

"Is there anything wrong with that?" Dark defended, trying his best to be calm, "You were also like this before – tailing her all the time and checking whatever she's doing just to satisfy yourself."

Daisuke blushed furiously. "It is entirely different from this," he retorted defensively, "I don't go sneaking on her house at night."

Dark blinked several times before letting out a soft chuckle. "I never mentioned anything like that."

"It's the same!" Daisuke growled, his cheeks burning already.

Nearing the Harada mansion, the phantom thief switched his direction, flying behind it to avoid being noticed by her. Although she wasn't out in her balcony, her room lights were opened. Going out on her balcony every night has been her old time hobby that she carried out until then. She just couldn't help but admire the peaceful night.

Taking his land on the roof, the thief flapped his wings twice faster before setting his feet stable on the slanted ground and folding his wings on his back. Standing still on his feet, he admired the beauty of the night before sitting down.
