Recap:

"Yes!" he affirmed, squeezing her much tighter and stronger than before that her last breath hitched upon her throat. "I am a demon!"

Everything turned black as Juvia collapsed. By then, the phantom thief was finally able to stand up in both feet, glaring at his white counterpart. "You wretch," he hissed.

"Pay for it!" he yelled as he dashed again, piercing the air in an unimaginable speed that's even faster than a bullet.

-----------------------------------------

"Huh?" the white-winged creature whipped around doubtfully upon hearing the thief's voice, but when he darted his eyes to where he pried him away, he was satisfied that he was still there.

Unbeknownst to him, the thief casted a spell to create an illusion of his body and dashed around the area to kick him at the opposite side, making him defenseless to it. On accord to the thief's plan, he showed right before the white-winged creature, astonishing him.

Krad was surprised and disbelieving to see him shot in front of his eyes and his glare was deadly. Dark wasted no time and kicked his fiend at the jaw and at the side, sending him backwards.

Gaining balance and enough composure, although a huge distance afar, a hint of fear was manifested in his face. Krad's expression turned into a half grin and half grit. He has to keep his annoying expression to challenge the thief.

Along while, he thought, "My other half has gone a lot tougher than I expected." But nonetheless, he broke a snicker, and mockingly said, "Oh sorry. Did I anger you?"

"Just who do you think you are?" the phantom thief hissed.

The white-winged broke another laugh as he spread his wings out and ascended to the sky. "How would you like to be beaten up from a certain height?"

"Ain't gonna lose to you," he muttered, pulling out black feather from his pocket, luring With out. "With will seek me out, no matter where I am," he said to himself in order to gain more confidence to fight his strengthened other self. He has to get over the fact he sent him out cold earlier and it took him sometime to regain consciousness. He's never going to fall in that trap again.

In a split second, with came in mac speed, transformed as his back wings, and attached to his back, ascending them to the sky to.

"Were always even," he reminded Krad, "try to keep that in mind."

"How can you be so sure?" he challenged, crossing his arms to his chest. "You have just been playing thief around while I was gone."

"Why are you back?!" Dark demanded again, "Rather, how come you are back?!"

"Do I still have to tell you why?"

Dark didn't answer.

"Alright." He sighed, "Here goes the story..."

Along the while, Dark wanted to cast some black energy on his hand hidden behind, but he was worried about Daisuke, having drained his powers since they still exist in the same body. So instead, he secretly casted a spell on his body to increase his endurance, since this will be a tough fight.

"I was trapped in the Black Wings, waiting for my resurrection," he began, "I thought I was going to die when the light engulfed me, but I was revived and was given more power."

"Who freed you?"

"You."

"What?" Dark couldn't understand him. He would never free his other half after having succeeded in imprisoning him.
