Ch.6: Do you Want to?

-Iwatobi High School-Next Week-38 Days till Prefecturals-
Y/N was officially a student of Iwatobi High School, and with the help of Haru and Makoto she was caught up in at least Literature and Writing.
"We'll see you at lunch. Y/N." Haru said as he patted the female's head, before walking away.
Y/N sighed inaudibly, before sliding the door open.
"Ohayo, you must be the transfer student." A man sitting at a huge desk said.
Y/N nodded.
"You're late." The man then said, causing Y/N to blush in embarrassement, just now realizing all the eyes on her.
No wonder Makoto doesn't like being late... She thought, feeling self-conscious.
"Please introduce yourself to the class." Sensei told her.
Y/N nodded once more, before doing what Makoto had taught her.
Y/N wrote her name on the board, before flipping open her notebook and handing it to Sensei, who quickly read over it.
He sighed, then handed the notebook back to the (H/C). "Please go sit next to Ryugazaki-kun."
Perking up at the familiar name, Y/N quickly scanned for the megane, before smiling when she saw the blushing face of Rei.
Y/N quickly went to the empty seat beside him.
"N/N-chan, I didn't know you'd be in our class." Nagisa, who sat right behind Rei, whispered happily.
Y/N smiled and mouthed 'Me too', before beginning to pay attention to what was being taught.
Why is he using letters with numbers...?

-Iwatobi Pool-After School-
"I still don't see why Y/N-chan is in your class and not mine." Gou pouted, while Nagisa laughed in reply.
"S-sorry, Kou." Y/N softly apologized, instantly causing the red haired female to be surrounded by pink sparkles at being called 'Kou' rather than her more boyish name.
"Y/N, you don't need to appologize, you have no control over that!" Makoto exclaimed.
"S-sorry."
"Hey, what are you four even doing sitting around!? You need to be practicing!" Gou, who had just gotten out of her little happy moment, yelled.
While the boys swam, Y/N couldn't help but to stare in awe.
Sure, she had seen them swim before that one time -as she had refused to go back until she was enrolled-, but that was also when she had been afraid to get into the water. As of recently, though, Y/N had gotten over her fear of changing back into a mermaid when getting into the water, a factor that causes herself and Haru to butt heads when both want to soak in the bath every now and then.
"Y/N-chan." Gou pulled Y/N out of her admiring state.
Gou smiled kindly at the other female, having seen the sparkles in Y/N's eyes as she watched the boys swim...And she was pretty sure it wasn't because of their muscles.
"Do you want to join the swim team?" Gou questioned.
Y/N stared at Gou, shocked.
"I..." Y/N's eyes traveled towards the pool.

"I want to join the Swim Team."
