Ch.1: Lost

-4 Islands-49 Days till Prefectural-
"Wah, we're up, Gou-chan!" Nagisa whined as Gou finally resorted to throwing a bucket of cold ocean water on the four exhausted males.
Gou glared at Nagisa, her hands on her hips. "How many times do I have to tell you to call me Kou!? Anyways, you guys need to get changed so that we can go eat breakfast." The red haired manager stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Hai, hai." The four males groaned, going towards the two tents that had been set up for the four.
Though, as soon as Rei and Makoto unzipped the tent that they had shared, the two blinked in surprise to see something...unexpected.
"H-Hah!?" Rei shouted, startling the sleeping female awake.
Sitting up in a haste, the female's (E/C) orbs widened.
"Ahh!" She screamed, kicking the poor megane in the face, before zipping the tent closed quickly.
"Rei-chan!?" Nagisa shouted as himself, Haru, Gou, and Ms. Ama rushed over towards the two swimmers.
"What happened?!" Gou asked, looking surprised after having heard a female's scream.
"T-There's a girl in our tent!" Makoto exclaimed, getting snapped out of his state of shock.
"A-and she's a bit indecent at the moment." Rei managed to speak up, shuffling around to find his glasses in the sand, after they had fallen off from the female's kick.
"Rei-chan, your nose is bleeding!" Nagisa exclaimed.
"S-shut up!"

Y/N shyly looked at the cup of (coffee/tea) that had been given to her from the brunette woman, while the group stared at the female a bit unsure of what to do.
Right after the whole mishap, Gou had brought clothes for the female to put on in the tent, since the (H/C), for some unknown reason, had nothing on at all, other than a key shaped necklace.
Nothing was really said between anyone though, yet.
"So...What were you doing in Tachibana-kun's and Ryugazaki-kun's tent?" The brunette calmly questioned, though it was obvious she felt as awkward as the others did.
Y/N glanced up from the cup, a look of surprise in her (E/C) irises, as if surprised by the sudden question.
She then looked between the four males, a look of confusion on her face.
"O-Oh!" Makoto suddenly exclaimed, as if realizing why she looked so confused.
"I'm Tachibana Makoto." He introduced himself.
Y/N nodded, hesitantly, before pointing to Rei.
The male's violet orbs widened, as his cheeks turned a slight pink as he pointed towards himself in question.
Makoto gently nudged the younger male, causing Rei to get what was going on.
"I-I'm Ryugazaki Rei!" He stuttered.
Y/N smiled, thinking that the bluish purple haired male almost looked like a baby octopus. (A/N: Look up plush baby octopus on images.google.com, you won't be disappointed.)
"And I'm Hazuki Nagisa! That's Haru-chan and Gou-chan!" The blonde exclaimed, suddenly in front of Y/N with wide, sparkling pinkish red eyes.
Y/N blinked, and glanced at the other two.
"How many times do I have to tell you that it's Kou!" The red haired female shouted.
"It doesn't really matter." Nagisa laughed.
Gou's cheeks turned pink in embarrasement or anger. "Of course it matters!" She shouted, then turned to Y/N with a bright grin. "I'm Matsuoka Kou, nice to meet you!" She said, holding out her hand.
Y/N stared at Gou's hand, before glancing at her own, confused.
Gou laughed unsurely, before retracting her hand.
"And your name is?" Ms. Amakata asked with a soft smile towards the younger female.
Y/N opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
Quickly closing her mouth, the female placed her hand on her neck, while the group stared at her expectantly.
Frowning, the female tapped her lips and shook her head, hoping one of them would get what she was trying to 'say'.
"Guys, I don't think she can speak." Makoto frowned.
Y/N smiled brightly, glad that she could at least communicate with that.
"Oh, well then maybe she can write it down! I think I have a piece of paper and pencil!" Ms. Amakata exclaimed, before proudly pulling out said objects from the purse she had been carrying.
Y/N looked at the two objects, before sloppily writing down her name as she had been taught years before.
"L/N Y/N?" Gou read off, instantly causing the blue eyed male who had been watching Y/N closely to perk up.
"I really like that name! It suits you, N/N-chan!" Nagisa chirped, causing Y/N to blush slightly.
"So what were you doing in our tent, uh, like you were?" Makoto questioned, blushing slightly.
Y/N blinked, before scribbling on the piece of paper, while the others looked over her shoulder.
There was a picture of, what could be assumed, a fish, then a wave, a cloud, and then a triangle.
"Uh..." The group looked at each other, while Y/N looked up at them expectantly.
Please understand... She thought with a hopeful look in her eyes.
"If my theory is correct, then L/N-san must've been swimming at some point last night, and when the storm began, she ended up in the tent!" Rei suddenly exclaimed.

Well...he wasn't too far off from the truth.

(A/N: I'm sorry if I offend anyone with how I have the reader as a mute, and if I do something wrong since I don't know any one who is actually mute, but this part will be later explained in the story, just basically think of the Disney movie Little Mermaid if you wonder 'what the hell was Author-sama thinking!?'.)
