Chapter 13:The island

Laurance's POV

I look at her face. It makes now 2 hours since she passed out. I slowly remove her beautiful black hair from her face. I already miss her light blue eyes and her smile. 

"How is she?"

"Still didn't woke up." I answer Aaron.

"But I did."I hear behind me.

"You're up!" I practically jump on her."Sorry."

"I can't believe what happened." She whispers."Guys, I saw them again. And this time we talked." I can see that she is holding her tears.

"You don't need to talk about it if you don't want to." 

"Aaron is right Lexy. You don't need to tell us."

"Thank you guys."

???'s POV

"If my calculations are right, they will get here tomorrow." I tell her.

"You always say that."

"Yea, but most of the time I am right aren't I?"

"No you are not! Master told us that she will be here in two days. And even if you are right, we still need to see how we will get her to help us. And we need to make camp in a hidden place. And we need food."

"I already got food, and master prepared a hiding spot. Anything else your majesty?"

"Oh shut up!"

---One day later---

"They docked!" I hear Mei yelling.

"I told you!" 

" No you didn't, now come and help me get Lexandra's attention." I swear, this girl is impossible."They are all going in different directions. The only people left are her and that super hot guy, Laurance."

"You didn't just- You know what? Never mind, let's go. Next time when I will have a mission I will ask to go by myself."

"I heard that! Oh... Do you have the "pausepower"? That guy is a shado-" I throw the stone at her and start walking. I hear her following me. "At three, we jump. I take Lexandra, you take Laurance." I whisper to her. "You already told me!" "One, two, three!"

I jump on Lexandra, pushing her on the ground, stopping her from moving and in the corner of my eye I can see Mei taking Laurance's power. At least for the moment.

Lexy's POV

I look at  my attacker. Oh no...

"Tony?!"

"Well hello sweetheart, we have't seen each other for a while didn't we?" He let's me go. I get up. My legs tell me to run but I know it isn't possible. He has his fast amulet. As I start to speak, something else pushes me on the ground. 

"Lexandra!" My heart breaks in a million of peaces. 

"Mei!" I start crying as I hug her. I just realized how much I missed her."I missed you so much..."

"Lexy, you know them?" I turn around and see Laurance looking surprised at me."And why do they call you Lexandra?"

"You didn't told them, didn't you?"

"Tell us what? Lexy, what is he talking about?"

I feel Tony's hand on my shoulder. 

"You need to tell them Lex. They need to know in what danger they are if you stay with them."

"..." I don't want to say anything. I don't want to destroy the friendships that I created. But I know that I can't hide it from them. It would have been only a matter of time until I would tell them, even if Mei and Tony didn't found me.

"I don't know what Lexandra told you-"

"Why do you call her Lexandra?!"

"Because that's her name." Laurance looks at me and I quickly move my head so I don't look him in the eyes.

"So, I don't know what Lexandra told you about her past but-"

"She told me that she lived all her life by herself but I guess that's a lie too."

His voice is so cold. I turn around and I ask Mei if we could go somewhere else. And so, we go to their little hideout.

Laurance's POV

I can't believe she lied to us like that. She didn't even told us what was her name. I am disgusted. 

"You don't need to be."

"What?"

"You don't need to be disgusted. She didn't told you anything to protect you."

"Protect us from what? We are a group. Seven of us know how to fight. Two shadow knights, a witch, a fucking demon warlock AND Aphmau who has Irene's relic! Don't you think that we are able to take care of ourselves!?"

"No you can't. Look, I can't tell you a lot but what we are fighting is one thousand more powerful then all your crew together. Lexandra, Mei, me and some other people... We are special. We have been trained all our lives to fight him. It wasn't in the best conditions and we were training 15 hours a day. And one day, they forced us to fight an army sent by him while they were running away. There were a lot of deaths. At the beginning, we were one hundred. We remained six. Lex was destroyed. Lots of her friends died. Me and Mei weren't that touched because we weren't friends with a lot of people. But Lex... She was getting along with pretty much anyone. After that night she changed. She wasn't talking with anyone aside Mei, who's her best friend. And only to answer questions with short answers. She was crying every night. After one month, she ran away. She was 13. And then, for five years she lived by herself." 

"..." I don't know what to say anymore. But I have one more question. "What's in the box?"

"Excuse me?" 

"Lexy has a wood box with all kinds of drawings on it. I helped her get it home."

"She still has it?" He looks surprised."Huh... That's a surprise. Can you bring it please?" By the way he says it, I can see that I don't really have a choice. So I go on the boat and bring it to him. I see that Lexy and Mei  are here too. When she sees the box, her eyes widen and looks at Tony who shakes his head. I approach Lexy and I give her the box. She takes it without hesitation. She sits down on the dirt. She doesn't seem to care that under her is mud that destroys her blue dress. She puts her hand on the box and starts to whisper something. Light comes out of her hand and the box becomes larger. After a while, it opens and Lexy starts floating. From the box comes out a magnificent staff and she takes it in her hand. An even brighter light comes out and I can't see anything for a while. After it stops, Lexy doesn't look at all the same. At the root it is black and at the end it is white. Her dress changed in a magnificent white-bluish one. And she has a sword. That looks deadly. And this is the moment I realize. They are half-half. Half gods, half angels. And a bit humans.
