Lexy's POV
I can't believe that Laurance saw those. Now he will think that I am a psychopath obsessed with magyks and Irene... Gahhhh!!!
"You know, those notes are pretty good. You should show them to Emmalyn, she would be really interested in those." he tells me.
"I don't know Laurance... I don't think they are that good. I worked on them a lot of time but I did't had any good source of information beside 3 books that I had in my house. Plus, they are only theories. I don't really want to share them with anyone."
"Don't worry. If you don't want anyone to know about them then I will keep it a secret."
"Thanks Laurance."
Laurance's POV
As soon as we arrive in Phoenix Drop, she takes the box and rushes in her house. Before she closes the door, I can see papers everywhere. On the floor, bed, desk, every single corner of the room is full with papers. I continue walking till I get to the tree. Empty. The perfect moment to look through Lexy's diary. I sit on one of the beds and open it. I see that some pages are ripped off. Of course.
Dear Diary,
I did it. I escaped.After 13 years off being locked in that place I escaped. I was locked there all my life. I managed to get my stuff before doing so. They followed me for at least two hours but they trained me. I am smarter, faster and stronger then them. On the road my dress was destroyed but I managed to do something about it. Now is a lot shorter and I ripped off all the accessories that stopped me for moving. I found a little hut and I made it my home. It isn't much but at least I have a place to sleep. But before I did anything else, I went in the back of the hut and I buried the box there. I don't wan't to see it anymore but I couldn't leave it there. I found a river close to the house and I managed to get the dye off my hair. Good thing that I didn't used permanent dye. I missed my black hair.
What? What is this all about? I don't understand. Where was she locked? And what's in that box? I hear footsteps and I put the diary in my bag.
"LAURANCE!!!!! What did you do to Aphmau?" I hear Katelyn yelling.
"What? I didn't do anything. What are you talking about?"
"We can't find her!"
"Again?! I swear...Wait, are you sure she isn't with Aaron?"
"I don't know. Travis is searching the forest so... yeah. Anyway, what were you doing?"
"Just thinking about Lexy."
"WHAAAAT?"
"NOT IN THAT WAY! Irene... I was thinking that she is complicated as hack! Sometimes she is a cupcake but other times she is more silent than Aaron... And has twice the number of his secrets."
"Yeah... but they seem to get along really well so maybe they share secrets... Maybe they are together."
"WHA-!? I mean... I... Are you..."
"Laurance? Did I heard right? Are you... Jealous!?
"What?! No! I just..."
"Yeah right!"
I feel my face burning. Am I feeling something for Lexy? No. I feel something for Aphmau.But maybe I feel something for Lexy to. Do I? Argh!!!
