THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR THE STORY, PLEASE READ!

Hello everyone! Just a small note before this chapter, as I feel like I confused you a little in the last chapter. In this fanfiction, the characters that Aphmau created are actually artificial personalities that have been created in order to keep the original people that inhabited these bodies. So when I say that the eyes of one of the characters are a slightly different color, I mean that the original inhabitants are taking control over these artificial personalities. And for what the original Zane said, he means that the souls of the originals are going to fade soon enough, as they are more than 2000 years old, and the new personalities, aka the characters that Aphmau created, will take full control over the bodies, becoming a normal human being. So when I'm going to talk about the originals, I'm going to put an "O" at the beginning of their names (for example, O. Garroth)   Also, when I'm saying Irene, I'm talking about the original Aphmau.

Beth didn't hear the explosion. In fact, she didn't even realize they were attacked only until the darkness invaded her room, throwing her in the air in a blink of  a second. She doged the projectile that was thrown at her, just before crashing into the nearest tree. She shook her head, trying to get read of her dizziness before looking once more around her. The camp was invaded once more but now instead of a few monsters that could've been took care of in a few hours, a swarm of dozens of darknights were flying around and destroying everything. The others were already fighting, only a few people missing. She got up quickly than started fighting with the nearest shadow. Slowly but surely, the drawing around her eye started expanding, letting out a larger quantity of magiks. The world around her started getting darker and darker, and at the end, the only thing she could see were the shadows, that had now a white glow around them. Her eyes were now fully black, no sign or white or yellow whatsoever. Just plain black, ready to attack anything that was in her way. The shadow approached her once more and she took it down in one hit. Even though she was a shadow just like them, she had been forced into years of training. She was a lot more powerfull than the grand majority of them. The fight seemed unfair. The shadows were going down one by one, Beth's hands getting stained with the blood of the shadows. Shadows like her. The inside of her heart was hurting, the guilt eating her alive. She should fight with them, not against them. But fate decided it should be this way, so she needed to go along with it.

The moment she was about to give a last hit to the shadow, it dissapeared in font of her, as well as all the others, leaving everyone confused. And then, in the middle of the battlefield, there stood a girl. It was a girl. Not older than 12 years old, with orange hair and big green eyes and with a pair of huge black wings coming out from her back.

"Leyah?" Aaron, who was fighting next to her whispered. All the heads turned to him. "What are you doing here?" The girl giggled, than with small steps approached the tall boy who couldn't believe his eyes.

"How are you doing Aaron? Long time no see. Bet you missed your dear sister." she told him with a mocking tone. Everyone looked at her, frozen. As the girl was staring at her younger brother, there was another person that approached behind her, a enchanted knife in her hand. Her hair was light purple, with cat-like eyes. With a quick movement, she pierced the girls body with it. Layla screamed in pain, than fell on the ground. Aaron yelled at his turn, than threw himself at the orange haired girl's lifeless body.

"Look Lyly, I don't have time for your shitty games." The girl said with an annoyed tone than threw the knife away as it was starting to decay, burning her hands.

The on the girls face appeared a sly smile, not noticed by anyone besides the girl.

"Mochi!" she heard a voice call her. The purplehaired girl turned around, only to see her sister, Cali, running towards her, with Zane, Garroth, Aphmau and Laurance's soul closely after them.

At Zane's sight, Katelyn, Vylad and Aaron tensed up,and were ready to jump onto him to kill him, but with a quick sign of her head, Aphmau stopped them.

While everyone's attention was away, the little girl had reappeared before them, with no sign of wounds whatsoever. With a quick movement, she nearly chopped off Mochi's head, but instead left her only barely scratched.

"Hello to you too Mochi." the small girl said, making a sword appear into her tiny hands.

"You seriously piss me off!" the sister yelled.

"Thanks." and with those words, she charged at the girl. She charged at the girl, only to be stopped by a thunder, than a beam of light. And by a girl that goes by the name of Lexy.

"After all these years, we finally meet again. This must be fate right?" Lex told her, with a smile on her face, her sword pushing against the girl's tiny body, her feet stuck on the floor, scared to move. She knew that if she did the smallest wrong movement, the energy between the swords would escape and cause a mass destruction. As she was staring into Leyah's bright, yet cold, green eyes, someone shouted.

"WHY DOES EVERYONE KNOW HER?" All the heads turned to Travis, with disappointed looks printed on their faces.

"Yeah. Why does everybody know me? I thought I was supposed to be a secret?" she asked, turning her head towards Mochi, moving slightly the swords to annoy Lex by giving her a hard time to coordinate with her moves.

"There have been some..." she throws Laurance and Cali a small look"...slight difficulties." she explained.

"Is that REALLY the problem?" Beth asked, sighting, than getting back on guard.

Leyah did some quick movements with her hand, and in the blink of a second, a light camp was pushed up around her and Lexy, leaving all the others on the outside scared and confused. Than, before Lexy could react, she pushed her sword toward her, letting all the energy smash into her body, pushing her body in the light camp, hurting her nearly to her death. The people on the outside were now screaming her name, trying to get inside the circular prison.

"Now that we're finally alone," Leyah said" we can finally finish what we started all those years ago."

With the little power that she got left, Lexy used her sword to get up on her feet, her body trembling, black tears painting her face, a trail of blood flowing from her mouth.

"Let's do this."

And with the power left in her body, she charged into her last battle.

God. I. God. I'm sorry I haven't updated in such a long time. This chapter gave me such a hard time, I tried writing it for ten times already and I ended up hating it every time so I ended up giving up for a while, but today in art class inspiration hit me. Like. I swear that inspiration just came to my seat, smashed a book on my head than yelled in my ears with a megaphone "WAKE UP!". I fucking fell from my chair. And started crying. And stayed there for like 5 minutes, just staring at the wall, my friends looking at me. I hope that now that this chapter is done I will finally get to finish this story. I think it's about time, and to be fair, I don't think I'm ready. I'm sooooo attached to these characters, it's not even funny.

Anyway, let's not think about that right now. I love you all, and I'll hopefully see you all next week.

-Daria, that has finally gotten over writers block. (Now there's artist block left)
