Blood. Blood everywhere. He could hear people screaming. He knew that his friends were dying, yet he couldn't move a muscle. Aaron's body was frozen in place, next to the place Leyah's body had been laying for a few seconds before trying to kill Mochi. His eyes were frozen on that place, his tears wetting the already destroyed dirt. The shadows weren't daring to approach him. Heck, they were even scared of what could happen if they touched even one strand of that boy's hair. His thoughts were tangled, not knowing if he should help his friends or his sister, his emotions fighting over dominance.

Why did it have to end like this. Why has her destiny always hated her, why did her strength leave her when she needed it the most. It was always like this. And Lex didn't know how much time this thing would work, until luck will completely abandon her, leaving her vulnerable to everything and letting the world kill her within minutes. Now, standing before the girl who burned down her entire family, destroying the only house she knew all those years ago, she realizes that that moment will come sooner than predicted. Her ears already left her, not being able to hear anything at all. And as the black tears were streaming down her face, she could feel all of her senses slowly draining from her body, and with every hit that she takes the world becomes a darker place. She could barely see Leyah moving her mouth, probably mocking her though she wouldn't know. Slowly, the itching smell of the blood was slowly fading away, signaling her that 2 of 5 senses were down. This wasn't working anymore. She needed to finish Leyah off as fast as possible before... Before anything else happens. She slowly approaches her arms, starting to mumble some words. She couldn't see it, but she felt the ball of lightness that had formed between her arms. The only problem was that she couldn't know where the smaller girl was. As she was concentrating, a voice appeared inside her head. There is a way. There is a way to find her. That voice told her.

As Aphmau was fighting another shadow, Irene was watching Lex concerned. When she finally understood what her daughter was up to, she immediately took over Aphmau's body and jumped at the unbreakable spiral prison, screaming her name, letting Aphmau look around confused at what was going on. As if on cue, Laurance, who was also in his spirit form appeared next to her, than, with swift moves, entered the room.

"Laurance, get out of there!" he heard a voice call for him. He looked around confused, only to be attired back into his body.

"This is no good." he heard Cali whisper, who was now floating next to him.

A bright light shoot and the only thing that he could hear before being blinded by the light was Irene's scream of terror.

There was nothing. Everything on the island was gone. The shadows, the animals, the trees. Nothing left, but a bunch of crazy colored haired kids, wandering what happened. And in the silence, a silent sob could be heard.

"We did it." a voice spoke. Everyone looked around confused, only the spirits of those kids were looking down, silently hurting. On the floor, there was laying a blind girl, bruised from head to toe, with more than one fatal wound piercing her body. No one dared to talk.

"It's finally over." the girl whispered, than broke down and started crying what was left of her heart out.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry. You've suffered enough because of me. But it's all over. This horrid nightmare that has been going on for far to long is over. The next day, you will all wake up, forget all of this happened and live a peaceful life. Without me, you will all be happy. I love you all."

And as everyone was screaming and yelling, crying and staring, Lex closed her eyes as she said one final word.

"Good morning."

"Hey Sasha! Morning to you too!" Aphmau said in a happy tone. Today, it was a day of celebration, a day of happiness. The two girls got out of the small house they were sharing, waving and smiling at their neighbors. The whole street was decorated with colorful banners, balloons, and all sorts of party stuff that have been bought especially for this day. Everyone was dancing and singing.

"Aphmau!" she heard someone yell. She turned her head to see a very cheerful Garroth, with an annoyed Laurance holding his hand. "C'mon! We're going to be late!" he finished his sentence as he stormed past them, closely followed by Laurance. They giggled at the sight than followed the couple to the plaza where they met with the rest of the group, just in time to hear the lords speech.

"Today, we are all gathered here to celebrate 1000 years of survival after the Grand War, after our great warriors killed all the shadows, giving the human race back it's land. We are celebrating the victory of princess Lexandra, and her death. Today is a day of celebration, but also a day of mourning, so don't forget to visit her grave, and thank her personally for all she has done to this land. The people were cheering, chanting the girl's name. People already left to talk to the princess's grave, others started buying things from the stands placed on the sides of the road. Just a tiny group of people were left confused in the middle of the plaza, looking at eachother confused, feeling as if something was missing. And if you would follow the path to the princess, to her grave, carved on the mountain, if you had a little luck, or knew some sort of magicks, you could see a 17 year old girl staying on the head of the nicely sculpted statue, moving her head back and forth, watching the beautiful late sunrise that only happened on that specific day. And she would stay there all day long, all year, all the time, on sun or rain, listening to peoples confessions.

"Today, is a day of celebration." some said to have heard the statue say. "Today is a day of celebration. A celebration for the forgotten, of the dead and of the loved."

Thank you all. Thank you all for reading this book, my first book until the end. Thank you for bearing with my horrible writing all this time. After one year, this book is finally over, leaving me dead inside. Of course, now I need to reread everything and correct everything because, hell, I'm not that good at writing. Thank you all once more. Please tell me your thoughts in the comments, and I'll see you all another time.

-With love, for the last time in this book, Daria
