No one's P.O.V.
Laurance is struggling, trying his best to escape from the prison of rope tied tightly around his body. How did he get into this position, he didn't know. All he remembers is fighting the shadows, then suddenly blacking out in the middle of the battle. When he woke up, he was already tied up and blindfolded so he couldn't figure out where exactly he was. A soft voice surprises him, making him twitch.
"Nee-san, I think he's up." It was a girl, Laurance figured that out. Her voice was more like a song pleasant to the ear, but Laurence knew that the owner of the voice wasn't so innocent as the last. He felt a hand touch his face softly, untying the blindfold. Before him was staying a girl with dark purple hair, a peace of fabric tied around her front, for what reason, Laurence ignored it. She had lazy green eyes that hid a lot of intelligence behind them that looked a lot like a feline would have, a feline ready to attack. However Laurance didn't get to see them, as a black hood covered them. Another detail that Laurance couldn't see, was the black scar that passed over her right eye, but in a twisted way, it didn't blind her.
"Morning." she told him than got up. As now she was gone out of the view, Laurance got a glimpse of where he was. He sighed in relief. Good. I'm still on the island. As he looked around, he saw another girl, that looked a lot like the other one. This one however, had lighter hair and under her left eye had a tatoo that looked like a teardrop but it was black. Her eyes looked just like the other girl's. She was beautiful, Laurance thought to himself, but quickly brushed off the thought. They kidnapped you Laurence! Get a hold of yourself!
"We're sorry we took you away so suddenly from your battle. You see, you have something we need." The second girl told him, very straight forward. Laurance looked at her in ignorance to what they would need from him.
"And what would that be?" Laurance asked out of curiosity. Of course he wasn't going to help them. Why would he? If he wanted to, he could beat them in a blink of an eye, now that he could see.
"Life spam." The first girl answered simply. Laurance flinched. They are planning to kill me?
"He thinks we're gonna kill him Nee-chan." the first girl spoke once again. No matter how beautiful her voice was, she sounded a lot like a machine. Or like she hasn't seen civilization for years. Probably the last one.
"We're not gonna kill you, little shadow-knight. We're going to do a binding ritual. You and my sister will be bound together and she will get to control your body whenever she pleases." the second girl told him. She said it as if she was sure that it will happen. Laurance however wasn't so sure about it. With inhuman strength, he tears apart the rope, breaking free, only to see a bright light coming from the hooded girl. It happened so quickly he didn't even understand what was going on. Magic circles appeared from the girl's arms, than vines appeared from there and quickly wrapped themselves around the boy's legs, taking him off ground, than hanged him upside down. The girl than slowly put her head on the ground, planting the hand of vines at her feet.
"Don't underestimate us. The other girl said. She hadn't even moved a muscle. She was completely trusting of her sister's abilities, knowing that she would handle him without a problem. Just how strong are these girls? As her sister was doing something in the background the one that created the vines approached him.
"My name is Cali. What's your name?" she told him with innocence. She really doesn't know what she's doing, now does she. Laurance thinks to himself. He remains silent.
"Well you don't really need to tell me your name." she tells him than starts thinking." I will give you a name than. Kei. That's how I'm gonna call you. It's from a manga that I read some hundred of years ago. It was about a group of volleyball, the main character was called Hinata and he had this frienemy..." as the girl continued to talk, Laurence couldn't help but think what in the world was this girl was rambling about, than started questioning her sanity.
Soon enough, she was stopped by her sister, who came to her with what looked like a very, very old book. Old enough that he couldn't even recognize in what language it was written. And he had a pretty good knowledge of the ancient languages. When her sister came, she immediately took her hood off, leaving her almost naked, her privates being covered with pieces of cloth, making Laurance blush a little. When she took off the piece of cloth that surrounded her forehead, he screamed. On her head were written with bleeding cuts the words Laurance Zvahl. She approached him, and put her small hand over his chest, in the place where his heart was beating faster and faster.
"Don't be scared." she tells him. But he was more than just scared. He was terrified. "It's your destiny." and than closes her eyes as a white beam of light appeared around them, making her hair fly in all directions. They somehow started floating and Laurance was now untied from the vines that have held him captive. But he couldn't move a muscle. Now tears were running down the girl's face. Why, Laurance couldn't understand. He was the one who was suffering. The light got brighter and brighter, and soon enough, they got blinded by the light.
Memories flashed before his eyes, the memories of the girl. He felt all the pain she went through, physically and emotionally. He screamed in agony but no one could hear him, besides the two purple haired sisters. Why did she suffer so much in her life? Why was she born 2000 years ago and yet she was still alive. Laurance had so many questions, that he didn't even realized that the memories stopped, and didn't notice the new power that was flowing through his veins. Finally opening his eyes, he noticed that the girl was now lying lifeless in front of him.
"Cali!" he yelled.
"Don't worry. She's just in a transferation state. Soon enough she'll wake up, but only you and I we'll be able to see her. At least I hope. There might be other people that can see her and that might be a problem but... We'll deal with that later." her sister explains.
"What in the world did I got myself into?" he asks, not expecting the answer that, to his surprise came out of the girl's mouth.
"Me and Cali are half-half, as your group of friends. We both are half humans, half spirits. I am the oldest, while she is the youngest with 2000 years old. Or somewhere around that."
"She's 2000 years old?!" Laurance exclaims. If he was drinking something, I could assure you that he'd spill it and than throw the cup on the nearest tree, but as he wasn't it didn't happen so let's continue with the story.
"Yeah. All the people like us are immortal." that's where something inside Laurence snapped. "You mean... Lexy's immortal?" It couldn't be possible. No. She would've told him.
"Why don't you ask her yourself." she tells him, than points to the group of friends that were running towards them. When he turned his head back to her, she was already gone, the only trace left was her shadow, that dissapeared too after little time.
"Laurance!" Aphmau yells as she jumps on her friend, that she hadn't seen from a while now. As everyone greeted Laurance, Lexy was on her guard, feeling like something was wrong. After a while, the group decided to leave, leaving behind them the body of the purple haired girl, that no one seemed to notice.
