Changing For You [July 17, 2011]

This is dedicated to the only boy I've ever truly loved. although i am young. I know that the way i feel about him is different from all the people I've ever met.

There were many boys, 

many men,

that I've met in my life.

Many of them,

made me smile.

Many of them,

broke that smile.

None of them,

made me think of a reason

as to why I should change,

just for them.

Until you came along,

and now, I find myself

changing for you.

From the sloppy pants,

up to the way i act.

From the way i sway,

to the way i leave you astray.

I think it means,

that you probably are different.

Because,

Now, I am deciding differently.

Now,

I will try to make this work.

Try to make us work. 

And if it doesn't,

I just want you to know

that you will never be forgotten.
