Chapter Eleven.

Jason's POV

I looked at Blaine not believing what I was hearing, "you want me to do what?"

"move in with me?"

"I swear I think I need a hearing aid cause I swear I'm hearing things?"

"no need for sarcasm, Jason.", but I swear I wasn't being sarcastic, he just couldn't have asked me to move me in with him. Was he right out of his mind? I was in need of a hearing aid but I'm only twenty seven.

"come live with me, Jason, you and Cailen."

"wow," I was really astounded, "you want me to go live with a guy that almost killed me..."

"accidentally.", he reminded me.

"details, and who gave my son literally a phobia of guys, you are so brilliant, where on earth did you get such brilliant ideas, even Einstein in his wildest imaginations wouldn't have thought up such a brilliant idea."

"stop with the sarcasm, kiddo."

"kiddo, I'm Twenty seven."

"the way your dad treats you, one would think your seven."

"my dad?"

"he called to threaten me." How did he know?, I wondered.

"look, Jason, I want to help Cailen, what are you going to do?", he asked, "take him to New York for therapy? To another Dr Frasier?"

That really sounded bad when he put it like that, but what other choice do I have? Live with the devil himself?

"I want to help, I can help."

"how does living with you help?"

"won't it be faster to just show him that I would never hurt you.", last time I was high was four years back, me and Jaz, I ended up in central park dressed in a wedding gown with four gay bears and three priests and no account of what happened. Jaz ended up in Paris, really, she had little memory too but her fiance explained it to her, apparently they did the deed on his private plane while flying to Paris, she did get arrested, not sure what exactly she did that was illegal, but that was good weed, apparently it was still in my system because he was actually making sense. "that was good weed."

"what are you talking about? What weed?"

"nothing, say I agree, how do we convince him to even go with you? And me, how can I trust you?"

"Jason.", the way he said my name like that, he had never called me that and he had never looked at he like that, something melted in me, he looked sincere but he had made me hurt a lot. "I have done a lot of terrible things in my life, but never to a child, I can't stand it, I would never harm a child and I did, I have to fix this or I'll never be able to live with myself.", he looked devastated.

"you burned my hand and humiliated me in front of your friends.", I.reminded him.

"and I regret that, more than anything. Maybe, even more than what I did to Cailen, I need to fix this." I wanted to believe him and what he was saying made sense, a lot of sense but what kind of a father would I be if I just said, sure, let's go, a stupid one.

"I want a deal."

"what kind of deal?"

"four things, one, you won't go anywhere near him when I'm not there." "sensible enough."

"two, if you ever do anything out of line, I can leave whenever I want."

"aggressive but still sensible."

"thirdly, you can never hurt Cailen physically or emotionally. Or me."

"I agree."

"finally, I know you are anti gay or whatever but as long as I stay with you, I can date whoever I want and you won't or say anything homophobic."

"are you really still thinking of dating now?"

"if you can, why can't I?", I looked closely at Blaine, the man was ridiculously hot, and if I had met him anywhere else, I'd be begging to get laid, not that I had ever been laid, it made me feel ashamed, inadequate, like I was lacking in.some way, it was my dirty secret, the gay guy had never had gay sex and had only had straight sex once, my fucking luck, , my first time and I wind up with a kid, I had felt so shamed when my gay friendswere talking about their great sexual experience, I had nothing and coming to honey edge I had promised myself that would change.

"I have a condition of my own." He said.

"what condition?"

"I want you to stay in my bedroom while you are at my place."

"Your bedroom? You want me to stay in your bedroom, gay guy and straight guy. you obviously have no idea how the real world works."

"I want you there so the situation with Elliot doesn't repeat itself."

"you think I'll seduce your staff?", was he serious?

"probably, you hit on Dimitri."

"how was I to know he was married?"

"I hurt you, Jason and Cailen, let me fix this and if Cailen sees you spending the night with me..."

"he'll be scared throughout the night that you'd hurt me."

"and when you aren't, he'll begin to see I'm not all bad, first night, second, a week, two and he'll stop being scared." He was making a lot of sense.

"if you hurt me or Cailen.."

"your dad said a lot already, I have to help you."

"why?", I was really confused, why was it so important for him?

he looked at me with a lot of emotion, I.had never seen such strong emotions in him, "I can't be my father, I can't hurt a child and leave him alone, I swore never to be a monster like him?" David? Monster? What kind of secrets was there in the Alessandro family? I was curious now, burning with curiosity.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"You did what exactly?", I have never seen aunt Stevie so mad, "why would you agree to live with the bastardy."

"he has a point, Mrs K, I mean he can help Cailen."

"he did this toCailen, what if he does worse."

"I won't let it, I have to try, Mrs K" I begged her, "I want to know I did my best for Cailen, if he can help him, I have to try."

Stevie sighed, "are you sure about this, Kenny?", she had an annoying habit of calling me by my middle name.

"I am 80 percent sure."

"I trust you which is why I'll move in with him."

"what about your company?"

"you're family, you're more important, and I have people to do that for me."

"thanks, aunt Stevie."

"you're welcome, Kenny."

She trusted me, I just hoped I had made the right choice for me and my family, and my heart, because I just realised what had melted in me when I was talking to Blaine; my heart.
