Chapter Nine.

Blaine's POV

I watched him run out of the office feeling smug until I turned and one of my agents asked "can I have him? I'd love to tap that ass.", then my blood began to boil and I have no idea why.

"I was kidding, only trying to humiliate him, go near him and I'll kill you." I guess I don't want little Cailen to lose his dad, another thing that bothered me I hate kids but this one I found I genuinely loved, I had no idea why.

"I'll expect another progress report in three months, leave."

They both got up and left and soon enough, Cailen came running in with a something in his arms it was wrapped, the kid was always.near by and when he wasn't with me, he was with Altair,"is my daddy here?"

"no, he left a while ago.", I replied, after I humiliated him, "what is it?"

Cailen smiled broadly, "I have a present for him since he burnt his hand on the stove.", is that what he told Cailen? I guess he was trying to protect his feelings.

"can I see? What is it?", I was curious, Cailen climbed on the chair across mine and put the gift on the table, it was rectangular and flat. "dad's book. His agent sent it yesterday and I wanted to surprise him.

I was shocked, "he wrote a book?"

"yeah and he drew in it too.", Cailen admitted proudly, "dad is very talented."

I wanted to see it now, I was mildly curious, well maybe a lot, "can I see?"

Cailen nodded, "but you have to be careful so we can wrap it again.", I gently unwrapped the book, it was a children's book, it was hardcover and the front page was in blue with what looks like little mermaids playing ball under water; How Lexie grew up. Interesting title, what were kids more obsessed with than growing up so they could do the stuff parents wouldn't let them do cause they were too little, I had learnt a lot from Cailen. Kids will devour the title cause who doesn't want to know the secrets of life. "it's nice." Was all I said.

"I know, dad would love it, I got a gift for you too, Blaine."

"really?"

"yeah, but I left it downstairs in Altair's room cause the Creepy guy kept watching us when we were playing.", the Creepy guy was Dr Frasier, "I'll go get it."

He got off the chair and ran out before I could reply, I looked at the book in my hands, maybe I had gone a little too far, maybe I should end this, it was just a candy bar and maybe I also had a little blame, I dropped the book and went to look for Jason.

Jason's POV

I was crying on the bathroom floor when the door creaked open, "I'll be out soon, Blaine." I said without looking up

"it's not, Blaine.", I looked up to see Elliot one of the guys that worked for.Blaine, he was dressed in a suit and was very handsome like most of the guys here, I think it's something in the food which is horrible by the way, I knew him cause he was always so sweet sometimes, he helped me with the work, "are you okay?"

I quickly got up from the floor, "I'm great.", I lied wiping my tears, "just perfect"

"you are a terrible liar." Elliot said smiling handing me his handkerchief, I took it and smiled at him, "thanks, I'll be fine."

He just smiled and drew me into a hug, it was really nice and I knew he liked me and I didn't like him back, he was a side character in this story of my life, a minor one, but I let him hug me cause I badly needed a friend, and when he drew back and gazed into my eyes with what I knew was lust, I let him and when he drew down and placed a kids in my lips I let him, he placed another, I let him and another until he was kissing me deeply, his tongue down my throat, it was nice but I felt guilty, and I knew why, I had no feelings for him, at all.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?", oh shit, I had never seen Blaine so furious, he looked ready to rip the roof off, "YOU!", he pointed at Elliot, "OUT! OUT OF THIS TOWN AND IF I EVER SEE YOU AGAIN, I'LL CUT OFF THAT TONGUE YOU USED TO KIDS HIM"

Elliot didn't need to be told twice, he practically ran off, Blaine looked ready to explode, "how dare you?"

"what did I do that was so wrong?", I wondered, "he KISSED me."

"and you let him!!", what was his problem?, "well, since you can't keep that mouth shut, put it to good use, get on your knees."

He was kidding, right?, he couldn't be expecting me to actually give him a blow job,"don't look so disgusted, isn't that what fags are good for?", he was sick, andstanding between me and the door, I looked around for an escape, "stop this, Blaine, you've had your fun, let's end this."

"I end this when I say so, not when you want.", he sneered, "not when you say so.", with that he reached for me and I ducked and ran, "JASON!!!"

Blaine's POV

I had never been so mad in my life and I had no idea why, something had changed in me the moment I saw Jason and I couldn't place a finger on it, I followed him and caught up with him by the stairs, grabbing his arm, I held it tightly, "let me go, I want out.", he protested.

"not until I say so. You have no rights where I am concerned, you are going to do exactly as I say."

"let me go I'm leaving, you've won I give up.", he shouted back, "you're a bully, no wonder even your own sister hates you."

"don't talk about things you have no idea about and you aren't going anywhere unless I say so."

"I will do what I want, you can't stop me.", he snapped at me.

"try me.", I let him go roughly forgetting we were next to the stairs, he tumbled down and began to fall, "Jason!", I reached for him, my heart in my mouth but it was too late, he went tumbling to the floor as I watched, it was like I was seeing it in a theatre, like it wasn't happening to me, he reached the ground and hit his head against the sharp edge of thestairs and began to bleed, my heart stopped and then my world.

"Daddy!!!", I turned to see Cailen standing at the bottom of the stairs watching as Jason bled, I ran down the stairs taking it twice at a time to get to Jason, he was badly injured, I checked for a pulse, there was still one, thank God, I turned to Cailen who was as white as a sheet holding something flat and white, "Jason.", I got up and moved towards him only for him to Starr screaming, loud ear drums shattering screams, "Cailen, I won't hurt you.", I all but begged. Cailen didn't stop screaming, "get way from me, you hurt daddy.", oh God, he had seen and to a passerby, it must have looked like a purposefully hauled him down the stairs.

"Cailen, I would never hurt you, that was a mistake, I took a step closer and he went back still screaming, I ran forward and held him trying to calm him but he Kept screaming like I was the devil incarnate, "Cailen, stop."

He went on screaming and trying to get way from me, Arlena Laura,Altair and a few others came running out, "oh God," Arlena shouted when she saw Jason, "get the paramedic.", she knelt by him and tried to stop the blood, "what did you do?", she looked at me accusingly, Cailen kept on screaming and trying to get away clawing at my arms, Altair ran over and held him, "let him go!", the little redhead ordered, "you're scaring him." Those were the first words I ever heard her say but I didn't have time to linger on that, I knew she was right, if I didn't Let go, he'd scream himself until he was mute, or exhausted, so I did, Altair wrapped her small arms round him and began to rub his back he had stopped screaming but was now hyperventilating, Laura had regained herself and knelt beside Altair rubbing his back, "breath Cailen, breath.", but he didn't stop until he passed out in Altair's arms, what had I done?, I wondered, he had looked scared, no terrified of me, not Cailen, oh God not Cailen too, I had taken something good and sweet and made it sour and bitter, like my mother. I looked at Jason who was lying his head in Arlena's lap, He had to live, oh God, he had to live, at least until I knew why the thought of him dead made me feel like my throat was closing up.

Oh God, what had I done? What do I do?
