Chapter thirty four

Blaine’s POV

‘’I Hate THIS!!!’’ Cailen was close to tears as he struggled with the tux bow, he looked absolutely adorable standing there struggling with the bow, his lips pouting, what an adorable kid, ‘’here, let me help.’’ I bent to his level to help the little one out.

‘’no one ever wears tuxes except to weddings or funerals.’’ Cailen complained. ‘’it’s so confining.’’

I smiled at him but I was curious, ‘’Cailen, are you okay?’’

‘’why will I be?’’ he asked. ‘’I’m all tied up like a goat.’’

‘’’I mean with having two dads and this wedding and all, me marrying Jason.’’ I said wondering what he felt about it, ‘’do you mind?’’

‘’nah, not really, it just means I’ll have a bigger family. By the way, do you and dad plan on having another kid apart from me and Altair?’’ he asked. I had been thinking a lot about it, I loved Cailen and Altair and the truth was that I would not mind having another one, a baby or a toddler and I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t my biological kid, in fact I’d love to give an orphan a home. ‘’yes, we are, someone not much younger, I want to adopt, you know two to four years or someone older nine or ten years.’’

‘’that’d be cool, dad always wanted a big family.’’ Cailen said. I finished tying the bow and stepped back to examine my work, ‘’you look positively dashing.’’

‘’thanks,’’ he hugged me without preamble, ‘’you’d be an awesome dad, you know.’’ He said before running off possibly to try and steal some cake like he had been trying to all morning.

I faced myself in the mirror; it had been seven months since I had almost lost Jason, seven long months. When Janelle had grabbed Jason and jumped into the rift, my world had almost ended I thought I had lost him again but it turns Jason Is as lucky as his namesake, the Greek mythical hero who survived the quest of the golden fleece because of all the things to happen as he fell, my crazy soon to be husband lost consciousness as he fell. Lucky wasn’t he? Cause if he hadn’t his feet wouldn’t have gotten tangled in some vines, VINES!!! Only Jason would be that lucky, no one else is. VINES!!!

‘’You seem nervous.’’ I turned to find Jasmine leaning against the door, she was going to be my best girl and she was excited about it. Well as excited as Jaz ever gets.

‘’he made me wait seven months because he wanted the whole works and so we got to know each other better, I am ready to grab him and run to Paris if it wasn’t for the fact that he wants fireworks and all the other works.’’ Jasmine smiled as she walked towards me, I actually got along with her better than any other person, she was like one of the guys, she loved football, games and wrestling, and GIRLS and GUYS but mostly girls.

‘’you are willingly volunteering for kids?’’ she asked, ‘’are you sure you didn’t hit your head?’’

‘’no, I want this, kids, and every other thing that comes with that except for bills, dating, rebellion and all that.’’

‘’what else is there?’’ Jasmine was standing next to me adjusting her red bow, Jason and Arlena insisted that if Jasmine got to be my best girl she had to wear a black dress, there was a long argument and Jaz finally settled on black blazer which I think is what Jason wanted all along, he’s a master of manipulation especially when it comes to having his way even I am not immune, but Jaz had insisted she’d wear her leather pants and black spiky boots but conceded on it having a touch of red to go which was her red tie and a white shirt to crown it all, Jaz had cut her hair for the event, not in a masculine way but in a feminine bad girl role.
