Kayla's POV

"Kayla wait up!" I heard someone call as I walked out of the school towards Jacob's car. "Hey what's up?" I asked Jack as he jogged to catch up. "Do you wanna hang out sometime this weekend?" He asked over the buzz of all the passing students. "Yeah sure. Movie night with pizza?" He nodded "How about we do it Saturday, my house?" It was my turn to nod. "Sounds good. I gotta go bye Jack!" I said giving him a quick hug running to Jacob's car. "Ready?" He asked and I nodded.

"Tim get out of my house right now!" Mom yelled from downstairs I sighed and walked down the hallway stoping at the top of the stairs listening. "I'm not leaving without my son!" "Your son?! Are you kidding me right now?!" "Shut the fuck up you little whore! I'm taking my son; why do you want him anyway?! The only thing he can do is play football! Besides you have that little slut daughter of yours-" "Don't you ever talk about Kayla! Ever!" I sank to the floor feeling the tears roll down my face. They continued screaming and I couldn't take it anymore I ran to my room and slammed the door. "Kayla don't listen to a word he says!" Jacob said as he walked into my room pausing when he saw me crying. "Oh lil sis." He sighed pulling me into a tight hug. I cried into his chest as he rubbed my back. "He's gonna take you with him." I cried out into his chest. "No I won't let him." He said into my hair.

Jacob left about an hour ago to go to a party for the football team. He tried to stay but I told him I'd put his laptop in the bathtub full of water. That made him leave real quick. I hate crying it exhausts me; just like right now. I huffed walking to my dresser for pajamas. I changed and slipped into bed turning on Tom and Jerry.

I woke up to someone shaking me. "Pssst! Kayla... are you asleep?" I opened my eyes enough to see Jacob sitting on the floor in front of my bed. "I am now. What do you want?" I grumbled out roll over to face the other way. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay!" He whisper yelled at me "And you are!" He cheered clapping his hand like a little kid who's about to get candy. "Your drunk Jacob go to bed." I said closing my eyes. "Okay!" He cheered and ran out of my room closing the door. I sighed and went back to sleep.

I groaned opening my eyes but quickly closing them as the bright sunlight shone right in my face. After scrolling through all my social medias I got up and through on a pair of joggers and a tie dye shirt. Were singing radio head at the top of our lungs- "Ello!" I answered my phone. "Hey my parents just left for their retreat, so if you want to come over now that's fine. I picked up a couple movies last night also." Jack said "Okay! Sounds good I'll be there soon, and I'll stop by the store and get candy-" "Oooooooo! Get sour patch kids!" Jacob yelled making me laugh. "Well of course be there soon!" I said and hung up. I slipped on my white Converse and grabbed a hoodie pulling it on. I went down stairs and saw Jacob siting on the couch with a bag of Doritos. "Hey can you take me to The store then to Jack's  house?" I asked grabbing his keys off the counter and tossing them to him. He nodded and got up.
