Chapter 10

Kayla's POV

We just finished eating and the whole time Luke was looking at me and each time I'd look at him he'd wink, bite his lip, or lick his lips. 'That's hot!' Was all I could think each time he did it. Right now I'm sitting on the side of the pool with Christina just soaking up sun when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to the person and to my surprise Luke was standing there looking right at me. "Yes?" I said looking at him questioning "can we talk?" He asked squatting down next to me. "Um... sure" I said hesitantly "Cool, come with me" he said standing up holding a hand out for me, I slowly took it and stood up. "Where are we going?" I asked still being led somewhere by Luke "inside" he said simply.

"Want anything to drink?" He asked as we walked into the kitchen. "Ummm water" I said leaning against the island, he tossed me a bottle and started walking somewhere else once again "c'mon Kayla, don't worry I don't bite" he smirked and I rolled my eyes. This time we walked back outside but to a little bench in his garden. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked looking at my hands as we sat on the bench. "Be honest okay?" I nodded "The night of the party what do you remember?" I looked at him "I removed spilling my drink on someone then cleaning there shirt off, then dancing and kissing them the rest of the night" I said my eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Do you remember who it was?" He asked taking a drink of his drink. I let out a big breath " God I feel so stupid!" I said putting my head in my hands and shaking my head no. "You okay?" He asked putting his hand on the bare part of my back. I lifted my head from my hands and looked at him. "Yeah it's just I have this odd feeling that I know who it was but I also feel like I don't know who it was. And that's all I've been thinking about the past two days." He nodded and sighed "Did you feel sparks when you kissed him?" He asked looking into my eyes. I smiled and nodded, and before I knew it Luke was leaning in for a kiss. As much as I said I don't like Luke that's a lie because here I am leaning in too.

As our lips meet they fit together like puzzle pieces, and sparks rushed through my body just like at the party. I gasped and pulled away "It was you" he smiled "yup" he said popping the P. "Why didn't you just tell me?" I asked looking at Luke. "Cause the way you found out was way better then me just telling you." He shrugged "good point" I said standing up "And where do you think your going?" "Back to the pool, care to join me?" I said turning back around. When I got to the side of the house I felt Luke slap my butt. "Hey-" I said turning to him and was cut off by him attaching his lips to mine forcefully. He moved his hands to the top of my shorts and pulled me close, so I wrapped my arms around his neck. Luke started walking toward still not breaking the kiss, he stopped once my back hit the side of the house. I had to pull away for air, so Luke moved from my lips to my neck leaving a trail of kisses.

"Luke..." I breathed out "yeah babe?" He said taking his head from my neck to my head and rested his forehead on mine. "They're probably wondering where we are, we've been gone a while" I said looking at Luke's perfect features. "No, don't worry about it I'm sure they won't mind." He whispered into my ear sends shivers down my spine. "H-how do you know?" I asked trying to contain my figure. Luke kissed under my ear "Trust me *kiss* they won't *kiss*" he continued to kiss my neck then worked his way back up to my lips. Luke licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, which I unlike most girls denied. Luke growled in the back of his throat and squeezed my butt hoping I would gasp. I laughed into the kiss and pulled away "really? That's the oldest trick in the book ." He smirked and quickly reattached our lips. "Luke" I pulled away and he slowly left another line of kisses from my lips, to my jaw bone, to my neck. He hummed in response. "I-I think someone's coming." He froze and pulled away. "C'mon let's go inside" he said taking my hand and pulling me to the front of the house. "Why can't we just go outback?" I asked looking towards the gate one the sure if the house that leads to the backyard. He shrugged and walked into the house pulling me with him.

When we got out back everyone was in the pool, you know except for the adults. "Kayla!come in were bought to start a game!" Suzan yelled from the deep end. "It's cold!" I squealed as I got in "yeah but it gets better" Derek said from the side of the pool. "Luke c'mon let's go!" Cody yelled to Luke, and soon enoughLuke was in the pool too. " So, what are we doing?" "Truth or dare" Derek smiled proudly "And we're in the pool why?" I asked no one in general they all shrugged.

"Well then let's get this started!" I cheered with Jackie.
