Chapter 4

Luke's POV

"Finally!" I breathed out as the dismissal bell rang. I walked out to the courtyard meeting up with Cody and Cameron. "What up?" Cameron asked as I stopped next to him "Oh you know probably gonna head home and mess with Jenna." He nodded and we started talking about our classes.

"Oh, Luke guess who's trying out for the volleyball team..." Cody said smirking, I raised an eyebrow at him "Kayla and her girls" he nodded. "Okay... And, what the hell are you smirking at?" He stayed smirking "I heard the volleyball team tryouts are on the soccer field across from the football field. And tryouts are at the same time." I nodded and smirked to my self. "Man I can't wait to see them girls on the field in their short shorts...mmmm" Cameron said looking at a few girls butts as they walked by. We all agreed. My mind slowly drifted off as I walked home and all I could think and imagine was Kayla in her short workout shorts, mm- Not stop!Ugh, stop it Luke you don't like Kayla! You don't like Kayla! As I mentally fought with my self I arrived home.

"Hey kiddo how was the first day of high school?" Jenna asked from the kitchen "Fine I guess, there are a bunch of hot girls in all my classes." I said happily, Jenna sighed "When we you realize that girls are not just objects?" She asked wiping her hands. I shrugged and went to my room. As I stepped foot in my room I heard my phone go off telling me I have a new text

(Text messages)
Cameron- Hey asshole
Me- Hey dip-shit
Cameron- lol wanna come hang with me and some girls at the skatepark?
Me- hell yeah! What girls are coming?
Cameron- idk Christina and some of the other volleyball girls
Me- cool... Do you think Kayla will be one of the girls?
Cameron- idol probably you know those two are close
Me- true what time?
Cameron- in about an hour
Me- okay see ya there
Cameron- yeah later bro!

(End of text messages)

Half an hour later I put on my shoes and grabbed my board heading downstairs. As I got to the door I heard Jenna say " going somewhere?" I turned to her "Yeah I'm going to the skatepark with some friends" she nodded and walked away. When I got to the park I saw Cameron riding his board trying to impress Christina, who was sitting with a few other girls I didn't recognize. "Hey skater boy!" Christina called out to me, I chuckled "Hey Chris" she rolled her eyes and laughed. For about an hour we just messed around doing stupid tricks and nagging the girls cause they wouldn't try to ride a board. As I just finished a trick I landed with my back to the girls "Hey Luke your little good girl showed up." Cameron laughed, I flipped him off and turned to the girls and saw that Kayla was now here with them still wearing her skirt. "You wore a skirt to a skatepark?" I said walking up to the girls. "Yeah... Why is there a law saying no skirts?" She asked sassily, I smirked and stepped closer to her "No but you won't be able to ride a board." She shook her head "Says who?" I looked at her for a moment before Christina said "Be careful Luke, Kayla's actually a good skater!" Kayla glared at Christina "Really? We'll see about that" I said holding my board out to her. She huffed and grabbed the board still glaring at Christina. "You owe me!" She said as she took off on my board. "Isn't she worried about her skirt flying up?" I asked no one in particular. "Nah... She has spandex on under her skirt" said one of the other girls.

"My oh might wanna take some notes Luke." Cameron chuckled I looked at him confused and he nodded his head towards Kayla. Just as I turned she went down the ramp and did a fakie. My jaw dropped as she rode back to us with a proud smile on her face. "Where'd you learn to skate like that?" I asked mesmerized, she shrugged " My brother he's a senior this year." I nodded. After Kayla's little show people slowly started leaving until it was just me Cameron, and Kayla. "Alright well I better go my moms probably flipping out by now." Kayla said standing up to leave Cameron and I both said our goodbyes to her and she left. "Do you like Kayla?" Cameron asked suddenly catching me off guard. "Are you insane! Why would I like her?" I said rudely he raised his hands in a surrender position and said "Just wondering... Cause you seem really happy around her." He said quietly. " I barely know her... And besides I don't like good girls." He laughed " Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught" he sang. We laughed and got up to leave.
