Kayla's POV

As I walked through the doors of the school Christina approached me with a serious look upon her face. "What's wrong?" I asked cautiously "Why the hell would you do that with Luke?!" She practically yelled; which of corse drew people's attention our way. I looked at the clock and saw we had a few minutes before class started. "Let's talk outside" I said walking back through the doors "What are you talking about?" She huffed "You and Luke and the little make out session at his house." My eyes widened but I quickly regained my composure. "Who told you about that?" I asked "I heard Luke tell Cody about it." I nodded not knowing what to say. "I told you to stay away from him! I don't want to deal with your shit if he hurts you, he's ua bad person and you know he will!" I glared at her "Shut the hell up you're not my mother you hypocrite!" She rolled her eyes "I told you to stay away from Cody because he'd hurt you, and oh yeah I was right! I had to deal with your shit for three damn months when he cheated on you! So don't you dare tell me who I can or can't be with!" And with that I stormed off to math.

When I walked through the doors I probably looked pissed because as I walked to my seat Jackie pulled out my chair and cleared off my part of the table. A few minuets later Christina entered the room and didn't even look at me. I'm pretty sure everyone in the room could feel the tension between us. "Alright class today we're gonna have a test!" Mr. Jones cheered which earned a few groans form people. Mr. Jones chuckled "it's not for a grade just to see what you all know and need to learn. The rest of class went by slow with everyone taking their tests.

By the time I arrived in PE I had calmed down and was happier. "Hey you" Cassie; one of the girls in my class, called over to me "Hey" I said walking up to her "Can I just say your party on Friday was awesome!" She said happily while the other girls just nodded in agreement. "Well thanks!" We continued to talk about our weekend and classes when a whistle was blown we all turned to the coach. "Do any of you have you gym clothes today?" He asked looking over everyone in the class, a couple of students raised their hands he nodded and marked off the people who have their clothes. "Tomorrow bring your clothes! Grading starts tomorrow and if you don't bring clothes tomorrow you get to run around in your regular clothes!" Coach yelled so everyone could hear. "So don't forget your clothes and for today you can just have a free day!" He said walking to his office. "Ugh I heard were doing something involving outside for the fist two weeks in here." One of Cassie's friend groaned. I laughed "Bleachers?" I asked they nodded and we walked to the bleachers. We talked for a few minutes before Luke and his group of jerks came and sat by us. "Umm, can we help you?" Cassie asked sounding annoyed. Cody laughed "Nope, unless one of you want to suck m-" he was cut off by Luke smacking him in the side of the head. "You have a girlfriend" Luke said then looked to me. It got kinda awkward after a moment so I turned my head and examined the gym. When I turned back the girls had started a conversation with the boys but Luke was still looking at me. I laughed awkwardly "Can I help you?" His lips raised into a small smile. As he got up from where he was sitting and sat in front of me. "You okay?" He asked I smiled and nodded. "Good" he said scooting closer "What are you doing?" I asked scooting back a bit. He laughed "nothing" I looked at him for a second "Okay... So why'd you guys come over here?" I asked gesturing to all the other guys with him. He shrugged "I wanted to talk to you." I smiled "Your insane, you barley have a reputation and your already going to ruin it by talking to me in front of people at school." He frowned "Can we talk about something after school?" I shook my head "I have practice till 5:30" "yeah I have football until 5:30 too so we can talk afterwards, right?" I nodded. He smiled and started to lean in as if he was gonna kiss me but at the last second he dipped his head so it was by my ear. "You know if we weren't in school right now I would kiss you. And you look very nice today." He whispered and pulled back, I laughed "I do not look nice today. I have skinny jeans and and a plain white shirt." He shook his head "I don't care it's simple and looks great on you, also I'm liking the shoes. I looked down at my shoes and saw my black and white Jays, I smiled proudly.
