Under Your Spell (Severus Snape/Student)

After what seemed like hours of us just lying in bed, Chris broke the silence, "You went to see him, didn't you?" He didn't sound upset or sad, was he assuming it?

"See who?" I asked playing stupid.

"Ariana, I'm not dumb... Ever since we graduated you could never stop talking about him. Like how horrible of a teacher he was and how he's the dungeon bat of Hogwarts. If you really didn't like him, you would have quit talking about him. Plus, I know you two had a thing before I got to Hogwarts." Dear god... I'm screwed. What do I say now. 

I opened my mouth to reply, but I couldn't get any words to come out of it. I took a deep breath and tried it again, "you knew this whole time?" 

"Yup."

"But why didn't you say anything?" 

"Because I figured that it was just a silly little crush and you would forget about it after a few years or so... I should have known." 

"Chris, stop right there." I put my hand on his face, "I went to see Severus to end what we had. I didn't think it was fair for you. So, I ended it. It hurt to do so, but I committed myself to you till death do we part and I really do love you. I'm not going to break that."

For a split second I thought I saw Chris's face turn into complete and utter shock, but then it was replaced with a smile, "I love you more."

"Nuh-uh!" I challenged.

After our little talk, things felt right. What felt like the Sun finally come out of the clouds after years of being in the dark. I couldn't begin to explain the relief of weight that came off of my shoulders.

Chris went to the store to pick-up a few things for dinner and I decided to apperate to Morgan's place to by pass sometime.

*knock knock*  The door flew open and Morgan tackled me to the ground.

"I missed you so much, Ari! Where have you been?"

Before I could answer Fred walks to the door and says, "Not even she welcomes me home like that." Morgan and I laughed at that little comment while attempting to help each other up.

"I missed you both too. What are y'all up to today?" I ask while walking into their flat making myself at home on their couch.

Fred and Morgan looked at each other as if they were debating on telling me something.

"What is it?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"We're expecting!" Morgan shouted.

"Oh my gosh! Really?! We need to start thinking of names and planning out your shower!" I say while hugging the both of them. "Congratulations!"

"We are going to have a little celebratory dinner tonight if you -"

I cut Fred off, "I'm hosting it at my house. I'll see you both at 6."

Kissing them both on the cheek and walking out the door before they had any time to object I add, "Love you guys!"

By the time I got home Chris was putting the groceries away. I walked up behind him and hugged him. "Honey, we are going to have company tonight. Can you get the grill started?"

He chuckled, "Sure I can, but what's the occasion?" He turns around and kisses my forehead.

"Morgan is going to have a baby!"

"No ways, I'm happy for them!"

"They were going to have a little party at their place, but I told them no and that it will be at our place."

"And what did Fred say?"

"I walked out before both of them could say anything."

Chris laughed, "That's my girl." He immediately got started on the grill while I sent an Owl to Brandon and Xavier as well as Morgan and Fred's family inviting them tonight.

Throwing the last few things into the oven, I glanced at the clock - 5:50 pm.

*knock knock*

It was Morgan and Fred with bottle Merlot.

*knock knock*

Then came Mr. and Mrs. Weasley with her famous Corned Beef sandwiches and French dip soup.

At around 6:05 came another knock. It was Morgan's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Diggory with her famous snicker doodles.

We all gathered in the backyard and talked for what felt like hours. Too bad Brandon couldn't make it, he must have been busy with work.

"Honey, I need to run to the store and grab the cake that I ordered earlier. I'll be back" Planting a kiss on my forehead.

"And don't forget the Ice cream, dear!" I yelled.

"Wouldn't dream of it!"

I turned back to the group and Mrs. Weasley had a smug smile on her face, "So when are you two going to be expecting?" 

I giggled at her question, though to come to think of it Chris and I have never really talked about it. I gave her an easy answer, "Soon." She smiled and replied with, "Good."

Chris came back with the cake and ice cream. Boy, I tell you. We had a blast until the wee hours of the night. I will admit that I got myself a bit drunk and so did Chris. Luckily, we didn't need to drive or apperate anywhere. I guess we both wanted to enjoy the party without remembering what happened earlier. Everyone left and I finally had Chris to myself. "Chris, Let's have a baby." I bluttered out. He turned towards me and lifted me up so that I was sitting on the kitchen counter, "Is that so, Mrs. Wright?" He asked between kisses. I nodded. Let's just say that the need for wanting a baby and the lack of moral judgment from the alcohol took over.  A long night it was for the both of us.

A month or so later I woke up feeling horrible, sick to the stomach and feeling the need to vomit.  Thank god Morgan was Healer. Chris owled her and within the hour she was right by my side (even though she was on leave for the baby). Morgan waved her wand over my cramping belly and she smiled. "You're pregnant." She said.
