=Chapter 1=

Beep... Beep... Beep!

Beep... Beep... Beep!

Damn alarm... I slam my fist down on the snooze button and roll over onto my back,taking a deep breath. I slowly open my eyes but quickly close them at the bright sunlight coming through my window. I groan as I feel laziness spread through my body. I blink a few times to get used to my surroundings and sit up, rubbing my eyes.

I finally get on my feet and head to the bathroom to shower and prepare for the day. It's going to be a long one...

I step out of the shower grabbing myself a pair of clothes which consists of a plain black V neck shirt and blue skinny jeans. I took one last look in the mirror. Hair up or down? Hmmm... down. You know I haven't really cared about how I looked until recently. Must be my girl hormones starting to shine and probably because it is my last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

My thoughts were interrupted. "Ariana? Are you ready to go?" My Mum yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah, I'll be down in a few!" I yelled back.

I grabbed my trunk and my Cat Joey.

I reached the bottom of the stairs pulling my trunk into the living room and headed to the kitchen. Mum made a quick breakfast enough to last until I get onto the train. As I finished up my toast my Dad came downstairs fixing his tie.

"Good Morning my loves" Dad said with a smile.

"Good Morning hun" My mum said back giving my Dad his daily dose of caffeine and a quick peck on the cheek.

"Morning Dad." I said.

"Are you ready for your last year of school?" he asked enthusiastically.

"Well... yes and no. I want to just finish school already but I don't want to forget all the fun times we had like playing qudditch and eating in the great hall." I said sadly.

"It's alright sport," he paused. Taking his hand and ruffling my hair. "Life goes on to bigger and better things."

I groaned. "Hey chin up." Mum said.

Dad looked at his watch and said, "Let's go, or we will be late."

We arrived at Kings Cross Station ahead of time. My parents and I walked with my trunk and pet on the cart between pillars 9 and 10. We ran through the divider and we saw the Hogwarts Express. It truly is nice to see it again. We walked down the station along the train and I saw a familiar Asian. My best friend, Brandon. We are like two peas in a pod, you will never see us separated unless it's break where we just write to each other.

"Damn, girl you smoking." Brandon said giving me a big bear hug.

I giggled, "Never gotten that from you before, bro."

I said bye to my parents and promised to write them as soon as I got settled.

Brandon took my arm and we started to look for a seat.

After a few minutes of looking we found a booth, though someone was in it. A brown haired bloke with blue eyes. He was actually pretty good looking. I turned to Brandon and he had a smile running from ear to ear. I took a seat across the brown haired boy and Brandon joined the kid.

"Ari, this is Xavier Malfoy." Brandon told me gesturing to the bloke.

"I didn't know Draco had a brother." I stated.

This time the bloke spoke up, "I'm not. I'm his Cousin. Nice to meet you, Ari. I have heard so much about you."

I gasped, "How?"

"Deary, this is my boyfriend." Brandon spoke trying to hold in his laugh at the situation.

"You lucky ass. He is good looking!" I yelled, punching Brandon lightly in the arm.

"Don't worry Ari we will find you a guy just as good looking as myself." Xavier said with a reassuring smile.

I smiled at the thought, though who would want me?

The rest of the ride we spoke of what we did during the break and how we would conquer the year seeing as Xavier and Brandon are the same year and house as myself.
