I needed to re-do this chapter, I just didn't go in the direction I wanted it to. I changed the plot up a bit. Sorry for the inncovience.

=Chapter 12=

I felt warm and at ease, that is until last nights memories came flooding back to my mind. Oh, Severus! Where is he? I need to speak with him about what he said last night. I need to prove to him that he won't hold me back on my life. Mission: Find Severus.

I opened my eyes and adjusted to my surroundings. I was laying in Severus' bed. He must have carried me to bed after I feel asleep. I wonder if he slept with me... "Ariana stop being so rash. You are his student and he is your teacher. He would never do that," I thought to myself. Well that's true...

Clearing my mind of my previous thoughts, I slowly sat up and stretched a bit. I pulled my self out of the covers and stood up. Where could he be? I made my way to his living room not giving a damn about how I looked. The couch had a folded blanket on it so he must of slept in here. Bummers...

I made my way to the kitchen and saw a plate of breakfast sitting on the counter-top. It also had a letter next to it. The letter had beautiful scripted handwriting, the same style that grades all of my Potions papers. It belonged to none other then Severus.

It read:

Caffery,

The potion was finished successfully. I made you breakfast and allowed you to sleep in. You may return to your common room after breakfast, seeing as you already missed the school's breakfast.

P.S Don't forget to do your 3 page paper on Wolfsbane.

I chuckled to myself. Only Severus would remind me of the work for his class. I stored the letter in my pocket for safe keeping.

Crepes with strawberries, topped with whip cream, a side of Portuguese sausage and a glass of pumpkin juice. May I say, the pumpkin juice tasted great! I feel so much better now, from the way I felt this morning. Hell, I don't even remember why I felt the way I did, all I did was help Snape with his potion and accidentally fall asleep.

When I finished, out of habit, I washed my plate and cup. I grabbed my school robe and headed out the door to go look for Brandon. Every thing felt good, as if everything were perfect.

SEVERUS'S POV

'This needs to stop! Ariana and I can't happen... I will ruin her life. She doesn't need a git like me' I thought to myself as I walked to the headmaster's office.

I came upon the two gargoyles and muttered "Lemon Drop." Really Albus?! Is that the best you have? The staircase spiraled up and I walked up the stairs to come face to face with a door. I knocked twice.

"Enter." Albus said.

"Ah Severus, please take a seat." And that's exactly what I did.

"Here is the potion you requested, Headmaster". I said as I handed him the vial.

"How did it go?"

"It was good, sir... like always." What is he getting at? Is he trying to cut down my potion making abilities?

"That's not what I meant, Severus. How did it go, meaning, you and Ms. Caffery?"

"It was good, Sir."

"I heard she slept over? Anything I should be worried about?"

"No, No, No, Sir! Nothing is happening between us. She is my student and she just happened to fall asleep while we were waiting for the potion to be finished."

"Severus, you know you can tell me if something happens, right?"

"There is nothing between us, Albus."

"Severus, I have known you long enough to know when you are lying. What is it?"

I sighed, "There will be nothing between us. I may have feelings for her, but I do not want to hold her back on her dreams. I know she has feelings for me and starting today she will forget about me. I gave her a potion to forget about her feelings towards me, it is for the best."

"Don't you think that's pretty harsh?"

"It may be harsh, but this is for her safety. I don't want her getting caught up with the Dark Lord and all of the problems that I regret making in the first place."

"Very well. Although, Severus, may I advise you to keep an eye out for her. It seems that the Dark Lord has taken an interest in her and wants her to join his forces. It seems that Draco Malfoy is a part of the plan."

I was shocked.

What?! Why haven't I heard of this non sense?!
