=Chapter 19=

"Good Morning, beautiful."  Oh no... It's him... What the hell do I say to him?!

"Oh hey Chris... What's up dude?" I said, trying to play it cool.  I even punched him in the arm.  Gosh, I really did make this awkward...

"Ohh touchy are we?" He whispered in my ear.

I stood back, but he grabbed me by my hips and pulled me towards him.  I tried to push him away, but he was too strong. God he was so sweet yesterday, what the fuck happened to him?

"Mr. Wright, I suggest that you release Ms. Caffery from your hold or so help me Merlin, you will get the rest of the year in detention with me".  That Baritone voice rang through the halls. Oh Severus you have impeccable timing.  Chris released me, but decided to throw a punch at Severus.  Surprisingly, Severus dodged the punch and was quick enough to cast a spell to make Chris freeze in place. 

"Maybe you should consider Beauxbatons. I'm sure they can all punch better than you." Snape whispered into Chris's ear.  I couldn't help, but giggle. He suddenly winked at me and freed Chris from the spell and led him to the Headmaster's office.  Within seconds Severus's coat whipped around the corner and disappeared in an instant.

By this time the crowd of spectators started to shrink and a pair of skinny arms flung around me.  Brandon spoke into the hug, "Hey babe are you okay? I heard what your boyfriend did. He better take care of you or else I will use a spell to cut of his---" 

I covered his mouth before he could say it. "Okay let's not say things like that in public."

"Why not?" Brandon Gasped. "You guys haven't done it yet?! Girl get on it!" As he snapped his fingers. 

"Brandon shut up, it isn't that easy, okay"

"Oh Pshh, girl I'm pretty sure he does it with students all the time."

"Wow... It's nice to know you think so highly of him. He has not done it with any students."

"Well he will and the lucky person is you, dear."

"Eww, okay Brandon, do me a favor and shut up."

"Fine. Fine. Let's go Eat."

After breakfast, we headed to our classes. Of course time flew by and before I knew it, I was in his class.  Brandon to my right and Morgan to my left, who recently switched into this class. 

BOOM! Ahh yes... What Severus loves, his grand entrances.

"Class, take out your books and turn to page 69." He said with a stern voice.

There were a few giggles at the page number, but I honestly found it funny enough to laugh out loud with Brandon. Morgan held in her laugh very strategically, but you could see her face was red. 

"Caffery and Scott! Detention! After class!" Severus yelled from across the room.

"Damn Ari, your boyfriend needs to take a joke."

"He is not my boyfriend... well sorta, but not officially."

"Mr Scott, would you and Ms. Caffery like to have detention for the whole year?"

"No, Sir" We both said together.

"Then stop talking and pay attention!" Severus yelled.

With no more interruptions, we got to make simple healing potions and Snape dismissed the class. 

"Caffery and Scott, don't forget you have detention." Snape said sternly as the last group of students exited the room. 

Brandon and I stayed seated and waited for Snape to come back from his office.

"You both need to stop talking in my class." Severus said Sternly as he took a seat on his desk. He continuted, "And really? You both had to laugh at number 69. Real immature."

I didn't know what to say, so I nodded my head.

"Snape, can you do me a huge ass favor?" Brandon asked while putting his feet on the desk and raising his hands behind his head.

"First Mr. Scott, watch your mouth, there is a lady present in the room, second, feet off my desk or you will be cleaning them all year and third, do not say what you were thinking.  It is highly inappropriate."

Brandon's face litreally spoke "Get out of my fucking head". He took his feet off of the desk and said, "Bloody hell, you both need to just-"

"Brandon(Mr.Scott), shut up!" Severus and I said in unison.  I looked to Severus and he smirked alittle at what we just did.

"Mr.Scott you may leave. Oh and don't forget that I am still you professor. Detention is inevitable."

Brandon got up and said with a wink, "Well that's my invitation to leave. Ari, I'll see you later tonight, if you aren't busy."

When the door closed, Severus locked the door and grabbed my hand, leading me to his office.  His office was plain, nothing on the walls. It was a miniature version of his apartment.  A love seat, a fire place, book shelves, his desk and a small window that showed the wamping willow and the black lake. Severus took off his coat. Took a seat on the love seat and pulled me down onto him.  Right now, I was sitting across his lap and leaned into his chest. We sat there enjoying the silence until I said, "Thank you."

"For?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Saving me from Chris." Severus shivered when he heard his name escape my lips.

"It's my job to protect you." Those word melted my heart.  I'm sorry, but this man deserves a kiss. So i did just that. I lifted my head and put my lips to his. After a few seconds he asked for entrance and I granted him with it.  The kiss started to get a bit heated and Severus now had me on my back laying on the couch. I had my legs wrapped around his torso and my hands grasped his hair on the back of his head.

"Ariana.." He pulled back alittle out of breath.

Still lost in this daze... I released him from my hold. "Hmm?"

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked with a scrunched up forehead and rosy cheeks.

It was adorable. "Of Course, Severus."

He laid his head on my chest as if he were listening to my heartbeat.

"It's going to be hard, but I'm willing to try for you. This also needs to stay between us. One person already knows and that is a big enough risk." He spoke again though only in a whisper.

I nodded and started to play with Severus's hair.  It was soft and silky, yet people assumue that he never bathes. I let my mind wander to how happy I felt, here and now.

We stayed like that for a few hours until we both fell into a deep sleep.
