Under Your Spell (Severus Snape/Student)

=Chapter 16=

Ariana's POV

There stood Professor Snape in dark green boxers and a black V neck shirt.  He had a lean figure, but it was definite that he had a bit of muscles.  If he was my age I would totally tap that. Did I just think that? Really Ariana... STOP!

"Sir." I sputtered out. 

"I wasn't expecting company. . ." He spoke with a stern voice. 

"Well Professor Dumbledore said that you needed my help with a potion, but if you weren't expecting company, I'll leave.  Sorry to have bothered you.  See you Monday, Sir." I turned and headed for my room

"Caffery!" Snape yelled a few seconds later. I quickly walked back to his door with question in my eyes.  "Sir?"

"On second thought, I'm not feeling well and I need to finish a potion by tomorrow. Would you like to assist me?" Snape moved to the side and gestured to come in.

"Gladly" I spoke as I stepped in.

"Take a seat on the couch."

Snape's POV

Well she doesn't seem to mind that I'm in my boxers... so... I guess I don't need to throw on something more appropriate... She snapped me out of my thoughts.

"So Sir, What potion are you working on?" I heard her say as she made herself comfortable on the couch. 

"Wolfsbane.  It's fairly simple, but there is a lot of time needed to prepare it." I said as I made my way over to the table with all of the ingredients. 

"Easy enough." She said with a smirk.

"Can you cut these, Please?" I asked handing her a few herbs.

"Of course, Sir" She spoke softly as she reached out and grabbed the herbs.  I looked into her eyes and they literally softened my heart.  Her chocolate brown eyes were so innocent, so beautiful.  Severus... Stop over thinking. She won't ever love you. She likes that idiotic boy... Why do I do this to myself?

"Alright, Sir. I'm done." Her voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Please call me Severus. There is no need to be formal." I mumbled out before even noticing that I did.  After a split second of shock I looked over to her and she has a smile on her face.  If she only knew what her smiles did to me.

"Alright Severus, what's next?" She asked with high interest.

After a few hours of cutting and crushing ingredients we finally threw everything into the pot and left it be until morning. 

"Here you go." I said to Ariana as I handed her a hot chocolate. 

"Thanks." She chirped. 

"Now we shall wait.  Let's go by the fire. It's warmer there." I simply suggested.

I followed her into the living room where she stood in front of the fire attempting to get some feeling into her hands.  I took a seat on the couch and watched her as she slowly walked around the room examining books and then she spotted the piano.

"Severus, do you play?" She spoke as if Severus something she used everyday. 

"I do, but I haven't for a while to be honest." I spoke truthfully.

"May I?"

"Of Course"

She pulled out the bench and stretched her fingers out.  After playing a few chords she started playing.  Just the simple movement of her fingers were so precise with the keys. The song had so much emotion in it that I didn't notice that I was nearly in standing ovation.  I couldn't help, but walk closer to her.  It's like her presence was a magnet.  I couldn't bare to be so far away. I put my hand on her shoulder and I felt her tense. Then I put the other hand on her other shoulder.  She then stopped playing. 

Ariana's POV

What is he doing? I stopped playing and turned around to see him nearly inches away from me.  He knelled and looked into my eyes.  His hands automatically gathered mine into my lap.  I felt like some wall of familiarity hit me. It's like I have been here before, but this is so wrong.  I must have dreamt it.  No, no that can't be.  I quickly stood up and left.  I didn't know what to think nor did I know what to do.  I went straight to the first person who would actually understand me.  Someone that knows my past and maybe something of this dream or sense of Deja vu. 

*Knock Knock*
