Under Your Spell (Severus Snape/Student)

It's been a month now that we moved into our house. It was beautiful. A small single story house in the middle of the forest. Severus put up enchantments just to be safe.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Severus in front of me fast asleep. I reached up to put a hand on his face when I felt a sudden gush of water run down between my legs and felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. I let out a scream and Severus was quick to jump to his feet.

"Severus! It's time!" Severus quickly ran to the kitchen to get a bowl of warm water and a rag.

"Morgan is on her way." And within ten seconds there was a knock on the door. I let out another scream.

Morgan came running in and quickly put her wand to my stomach. She gave me a little vial to drink to help ease the pain. Severus was at my side holding my hand. The contractions started to get closer and closer together and soon enough Morgan told me to give this last push my all. Sure enough that got the job done.

Severus and I looked at each other and smiled when we heard the baby cry. Morgan wrapped him in a blanket and handed him to me.

"He's going to want to eat right away." Morgan added, "He is beautiful just like his Mommy."

Morgan spent the rest of the day giving Severus tips for the baby while I slept for a good few hours.

When I woke up, I saw Severus there in the rocking chair holding the baby and he could not take his eyes off of him. He was absolutely adored by the baby.

"What's his name going to be?" I asked in my groggy voice as I sat up, stretching.

"Let's name him after your father - William and his middle name could be his father's."

"No, we will give him your middle name. Chris will have nothing to do with this baby."

"William Tobias Snape. It's perfect, dear." I love the fact that Severus never argues with me about the little things anymore.

FAST FORWARD FIVE YEARS LATER...

"William! Severus! It's time for dinner!" I yelled from the kitchen.

You could hear footsteps pounding down the hallway and William screaming.

"I'm going to catch you, William!" Severus yelled.

"No you won't, Daddy." William ran right into the kitchen and held onto my leg. "Mommy you have to run, Daddy is going to catch us."

"Oh yeah?" William nodded and I quickly lifted him up to carry him as he buried his head in the crock of my neck.

"I'll protect you my little prince." Severus rounded the corner and smiled.

"I got the both of you." Severus said as he kissed me on the forehead.

I sat William down at the kitchen table and sat down while Severus politely stayed standing up until I sat. He is still a gentleman to this day, I swear.

"So what did you boys do today?" I asked taking a bite of William's favorite Lasagna with extra cheese.

William was always so excited to answer this question. "Daddy taught me how to make a potion. It was so cool. I put that one thing in and then it went boom! It was so cool." I loved how he was so fascinated with all of it. He even made cute little hand gestures. He is my joy.

I giggled, "What potion did you make with, Daddy?"

"Daddy, what did we make? I forgot already." William said, as he face palmed him self because he forgot.

"We made a love -"

"Yes! A love potion. That's how Daddy and you fell in love, right?" William cut Severus off.

I laughed at his curiosity, "No, my little prince Your daddy and I didn't need a love potion to fall in love. "

"I want to fall in love with a girl like you, Mommy."

"I'm sure you will." I kissed his forehead and we finished up our food while getting entertained by William of course.

I started to wash the dishes when I felt two arms wrap around my back, "Let me do them, darling."

Severus kissed my neck and grabbed my hips pushing me to the side so that he had full access to the sink.

"Good one, Daddy!" William came out from under the table.

"What are you two up to?" I asked Severus as he chuckled.

"Mommy, Daddy is teaching me to be a gentleman and he told me to watch what he did and he washed the dishes for you."

I looked back at Severus and raised my eyebrow. He shrugged.

Oh how these little moments make me the happiest and will forever continue to do so.
