It was only my third week at Hogwarts, but already I felt that sense of home. I had been terrified about switching from Beauxbaton's, especially because it was the middle of my fifth year. But everyone was just so kind and welcoming. Especially Harry Potter, my god brother, and Draco Malfoy, my new boyfriend.

I had known Harry my entire life - I was Sirius' daughter, so of course Harry had spent most holidays and weekends with me. But we had grown much closer over the past few weeks, even though I was sorted into a different house.

And speaking of that different house, I had made lots of friends there too. Specifically, Draco. He helped me out after our first potions class together, and after that, we had become almost inseparable. A few days ago, he had asked me out, and of course I had said yes.

Actually, the two boys were very similar, and I was slightly surprised that they hadn't become friends. Harry and Draco were both natural leaders, and were looked up to by the other students. They both played quidditch. They were fairly sarcastic. They were rather bold, and stood up for what they believed in.

However, there was the matter of different beliefs.

And that was why I found them dueling in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.

Upon hearing a loud crash and seeing flashes of colored light coming from the first floor girls' lavatory, I know someone is dueling in there. But the last people I expect to find are Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, my two best friends at Hogwarts.

"Harry! Draco!" I cry as I rush to stand right in between them, without even thinking of my own safety.

The two boys freeze. Harry is standing with his wand pointed directly at me, and Draco has his mouth open, some unsaid curse on his lips.

Finally, they speak. In unison, both Harry and Draco say, "y/n! What are you doing here?" and then turn to glare at each other.

"This is a girls' bathroom, you know. Why are you two dueling?"

"Because he's a twat!" said Harry.

I arch an eyebrow at him and walk to stand next to Draco. "Well, I guess this as good a time as ever to introduce you to my new boyfriend."

"He's your boyfriend?"

When I scowl at him, he gulps and tries to take back what he said. "I mean, yeah, I know Draco and ... um ... I just don't ... um ..."

Draco smirks, "Bet you weren't expecting that, huh, Potter? But I guess you have better taste in friends than I thought at first."

He links his fingers with mine.

"Um, thanks, I guess," says Harry. "You have better taste in girlfriends than I thought at first. But if you hurt her, you better understand that the next duel I have with you will result in a trip to Madam Pomfrey."

"Whose?" Draco chuckles, "Yours or mine? Never mind that. I don't intend on hurting y/n. I love her."

I squeeze his hand. "I love you too. But I care a lot about Harry as well, and I can't have you two killing each other."

The two boys roll their eyes at me but can't help but smile at each other. I can tell they took my comment seriously - I won't have spend my time worrying about them dueling any more. I can spend my time with them instead.
