Draco has been acting weird lately. He used to be all around me last year, he barely had his hands off me. But now, he doesn't even touch me, maybe sometimes he'll say good morning, or good night. He doesn't even look at me now. I don't know why, but what I do know is that something happened last summer, and that I'm going to figure it out.
"Hello trio" I greeted Harry, Ron and Hermionie. We weren't close, but we are friends.
"Hello y/n" Harry greeted.
"If you expect me to ask how are you guys and stuff, well I am not and I'm going straight to the point okay? Well, somebody told me you know how to make a polyjuice potion, is that true?" I asked, looking at Hermionie, because I certainly know she does.
"For what do you want it?" She asked.
"Draco's been acting weird lately and I want to know why. He only talks to Crabbe and Goyle, so I wanted to you know, talk to him for a while" I said, looking down.
"Okay, I'll do it. Meet me at moaning Myrtle's bathroom" Hermionie said.
I thanked her as I stood up and left, grinning to myself.

After class, I was ready to meet Hermionie at that creepy bathroom, but Draco stopped me.
"Y/n! Wait!" I heard him exclaim, grabbing my wrist.
"Well, hello Draco" I said, trying to hide my amuzement. I mean, this is the first time we have an actual conversation in months.
"Can you meet me at the astronomy tower in ten minutes? Please?" He asked with pleading eyes.
"Y-Yes, of course. I'll meet you there" I muttered as he nodded and left. He seemed pretty nervous.
I turned around and saw Harry and Ron. I walked towards them and told them to thank Hermionie for the polyjuice, but I'm not going to need it.

"Draco?" I asked, getting to the top of the astronomy tower. I scanned the room looking for Draco, until I found him looking at the sunset in one of the balconies. I walked towards him and stood next to him.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I asked.
"It might be. But it's not as half as beautiful as you are" he said, looking at me.
"Draco, what's going on with you? For the last couple of months you've been-" I started questioning him, but he interrupted.
"Ignoring you, I know. And I'm sorry. But it's for the best, believe me." He said, looking down. And my heart began to broke.
"Oh no, I know how this will all end. You are breaking up with me" I said, feeling the first tears fill my eyes. The feeling of him not wanting me as much as I want him terrifies me, and it's something I'm not prepared for.
"Y/n, I'm sorry, but I-I have to keep you safe" he muttered, his eyes starting to water.
"From what? From the feeling of loving someone so much that you could die for?" I said, tears rolling down my cheeks.
"I can't explain y/n" he said.
"Then try, please enlight me" I said, trying to stop my tears from falling.
"If I stay with you, he'll have an easier way to push me to things I don't want to do. He'll threaten me to kill you, and if I don't do what he wants, he'll do it. And that's something I can't cope with. I can't see you hurt" he said, breaking down.
"Who are you talking about?" I asked, stepping closer towards him.
"Voldemort" he said, and pulled up his sleeve, a death eater's tattoo coming in sight. I gasped. "It happened over the summer, I didn't want to join them, but he threatened to kill you, since you are the only one I mostly care about" he said as I hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around me and hid his face on my neck.
"It's fine, everything will be okay" I said, still not believing his lastest confesion. "Look at me" I said, forcing him to look at me. "Everything will be alright, and we'll go through this together. I won't leave your side, no matter what, okay?" I said and he nodded.
"I'll keep you safe, no matter what" he muttered after a while of just sobs and tight hugs.
"I know, and I love you for that" I said.
"I love you more" he muttered.
