I am trying so hard to focus on my book, but Draco keeps distracting me. Not with his usual self, like ranting about how bad Potter actually is, how good he is at quidditch, or what would be the next big thing his father will do for him. Now, he keeps on telling me how much he loves me, and kisses me on the lips and neck, while he keeps his arms resting on my waist. I am not going to lie, I love this affectionate side of him, but it's strange. He usually leaves this kind of stuff when we are in private. So due to the circumstances, I know something is wrong with him.
"Draco, are you alright?" I asked him, closing my book and facing him.
"Nothing is wrong, why love?" He asked sweetly, while pecking my lips and playing with my hands.
"It's just that you're being extra affectionate, and we are in public" I said. "And I know something is wrong with you"
"I want to let everyone know how much I love you y/n" he mumbled.
"I know, and so them. Every time a boy looks at me in a flirtatiously way, you either glare or threaten them." I said chuckling a bit.
"You don't like when I'm this affectionate in public?" He asked, and suddenly something inside me broke. How I can not love when he's being like this? In public or not, I love it.
"Are you serious? I love it. I love every single thing you do, and make me feel. In public or not. No one makes me feel like you do Draco, but I know you, and I know that something is bothering you" I said, looking at him and holding tightly his hands.
"It's just that... Damn. I miss home alright? I miss the old times, when nothing bothered me and everything was so innocent. Now I am angry all the time and scared. I want to go back when I knew nothing and my only concern was to make Potter loose points. And the only way to do that is by being with you. That's one of the reasons why I love you so much. You remind me of my innocense, and how fun life is. You are like my way to go back home, to that innocense. Actually, you are home. I feel like I'm at home when I'm with you y/n" he said, and suddenly, I felt my eyes water, along his.
"I love you so, so much Draco" I said, hugging him tightly.
"I love you more, in ways that you could never imagine" he whispered back.
