The dead leaves filled the dark path as she walked through. She comes there only to face what she has inside. The monster that rests at her core, desperately trying to get out.

She knew it was in here somewhere, her hiding spot. It's been so long since she has ever stepped foot inside of the forbidden forest.

6th year was deadly, it was toxic. Most people were blinded, but y/n wasn't. She was completely stressed out.

She loved Draco Malfoy with all of her heart, and sadly, she might never know if he feels the same.

He fancies her, yes. But, sometimes she feels more like a rebound for him. She couldn't take it.

"Y/n!" Draco called from behind her, chasing after her. She stopped dead on her tracks but didn't dare to turn around.

"What's the matter, baby?" He asked quietly. What she didn't realize was Draco was completely in love with her. She was to caught up in her doubts to open her damn eyes for once.

Y/n shook her head, tears rolling down her cheeks. Draco sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.

"I-it's so hard." Y/n choked on a sob as she turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

"Do you love me, Draco?" Y/n asked, as she pulled away to face him. Her tears hitting her y/h tie. Draco scoffed.

"Of course I love you. I love you so much. I thought you already knew." Draco said, disbelief written all over his face. "You're the only person I open up to, you're the only person who understands me-"

"That's what makes me think I'm your crutch, Draco!" Y/n yelled. Draco looked at her dead in the face.

"I love you, Draco. I just feel like you're only with me because of your task." She said quietly.

"Y/n, are you insane?! I hesitated to say that I love you because I don't want the Dark Lord to kill you. But I did anyway, because I LOVE YOU. I love you." Draco kept repeating it. Y/n nodded and hugged him again. "I wouldn't have stayed with you if I wasn't happy. I'm beyond happy with you y/n. I promise you, I will never leave. Please talk to me when you're feeling like this."

She smiled lightly and planted her lips on his.
