you sat beside blaise for breakfast most days, especially when draco was off doing whatever secretive thing that draco does and when pansy was off following him around like a lovesick puppy. you were much closer to the dark skinned man than you were the other two, so this arrangement suited you perfectly.
"what did you get up to last night?" blaise asked, buttering a piece of toast while you picked at your eggs, not feeling very hungry this morning. "the usual." you sighed, bored. "oooo i figured out a charm to put on millicent's cat so that it would different animal sounds rather than meow. made me fucking wheeze when she came in and the beast made elephant sounds. oh - and then pansy came in to bed and FUCKING OINKED, best day of my life. anyways, what about you?"
"ahh wish i could've seen that," blaise grinned at you. "i don't think anyone else could have thought of that." you shrugged, feeling modest about your creativity. "i got bored of watching you and draco play chess. ever since weasley won that game first year, he's been obsessed over it. if i have to hear about one more game-"
" i know, i know. you'll turn his prick into a pawn, i remember." blaise laughed. "you know, you're the most interesting person i've ever met, y/n. i hope you stay in my life forever," he smiles and takes your hand. "blaise i-" "no, really. i've been thinking a lot about you recently and i really wanted to ask you out to hogsmeade or something. but only if you're oka-" "BLAISE!" you cut him off, laughing. his cheeks flush bright red as you play with his long, slender fingers. "i was waiting for the day you'd grow the balls to ask me out, zambini." you smile devilishly while leaning closer towards the beautiful boy. "nah babe, i was waiting for you to come around" he smirks. "what do you mean, blaise? i've always been here," you smile innocently and kiss his cheek. the obvious look of panic that crosses his face is undeniably cute. "yah, whatever. hogsmeade, saturday, 4:00 sound good? great! ill pick you up then!," he stands and runs off to find draco as you smile after him.
